Do y’all change your light timer for the grow room during daylight savings time or roll on as is?
I leave mine constant unless the time change compromises times when I need to be in the tent because of my schedule.
@MidwestGuy i have 2, 3 day old sprouts, and 2, almost 3 week old autos. One autos starting her first pistils at the stalk. Say I did fall back with my timer, but I also knocked an hour off to taper down to 12/12. I should be ok given it’s 2 autos in veg, and 2 seedlings right?
Thoughts:
I’ve never tapered my light changes. I just do it all at once.
You are correct imho. Autos don’t care and seedlings aren’t going to be sexually mature enough for a light cycle to make a difference.
I probably could just go to 12/12. I’ll go docthat now. Thanks for the input!
That’s the reason I was asking and changed mine.
I have no schedule at all for myself so only know time changes when wife says so…
. Plants just never change.
Its funny how this subject comes up every year about this same time! LOL
Just spun the dial around to be accurate to my daily routine…all in flower, not too concerned
I had the time change and lost power for 6 hours that day…my head hurt trying to figure out how to get back on schedule…ended up counting the power outage as dark time and kept the light on longer after the power came on…fudge toward extra light. They are in flower and I do not think there was any affect.
I change them to stay on our time. Also went through outages with no problems.
This may only be a problem when FEM plants are flowering.
