@dbrn32 it for a two plant 2x4 tent. How much of a difference would Rspec make as opposed to the v1??

In a perfect world, maybe something like 10% more light per watt and a little more desirable bud development. I suppose could be more or less, depending on other variables.

I’m thinking about upgrading to a 4x4 tent myself. The double 260xl is an interesting idea. Is it the length of the xl over the regular 260 that makes it more desirable doubling them up in a 4x4?

Long time @dbrn32 been super busy with work but looking to try out a quantum setup for a 6x6 space. What do you think? Looking to mix a small amount of uv red spectrum. Maybe split it into 4 fixtures.

Sounds pretty reasonable to me. I would look at doing two 288 boards or four 120/132 boards per 3x3. Then you can add whatever you would like. If you go with 288 boards r-spec is available, already has 660nm added.

IM looking at alibaba for 660 added to 3500 for veg. 8 qb in a 4x8
For flower I’m thinking 8 in the 3000k with added 660 And 4 of the 3000k with added 660, uva and ir.
Is uva and ir good for flower the whole flowering time(8-12weeks) if not I have to choose added uv on its own or mixing 6 of each.

Two questions. 1. My understanding of buying qb on alibaba from KB is that the binning isn’t as top(less efficient) as hlg. So would I want more boards for my space?
2. Uva, ir whole flower time (opinions helpful).
Make that 3 lol. Would drivers be equivalent?
Hard to say exactly what you’re getting from Alibaba, that’s the problem. You can’t know how much to adjust if you don’t know what you have. I’m not aware of uva adjusting flower time any. >720nm could a little though.

Does added IR benefit flowering? I mean that’s the upside to led no IR so I can have an 80degree room.
Actually misread what you said 2 288 boards per 3x3 so that would put me at 4 288 boards for my 6x6 space. You have a parts breakdown would definitely want dimmable drivers if applicable.
