Thank you for tip about cinnamon :four_leaf_clover:

I started using 30% shade cloth last year during the extreme heat waves, and found the plants love it  I added them during flowering. I’m using them the whole grow 2025 outdoor season, it lowers the leaf temperature and helps them have better quality flowers. Affordable ones on Amazon:

I use 30% shade cloth too. I never thought about using it the whole grow.

I moved 3 outside last Sunday. I’m using 25 gallon pots this year, they were root bound by August in 15 gallon pots last year.

If you can put the bags directly on the ground/soil, the roots will grow through and help the plant. You can grow some nice plants with 25 gallon bags. 45 gallons plus will make more bigger buds :evergreen_tree::rocket::slot_machine::partying_face:

I had 2 in 25 gallon bags last year…

Your plants are so green and lush. Mine are yellowing due to excess rain. Supposed to have some nice weather this week. Hoping mine will green up like yours. Nice job. :facepunch:

I’ve got my set up going outside. Last year my plants were just too big…in 30 and 45-gallon pots…one was 13 feet tall. Too hard to take care of and I got some bud rot. This year I am going with 10-gallon bags for the photos and 7-gallon bags for the autos. This is my first ever auto grow. I have two that are already in flower and two seedlings still in the tent. Hoping the early harvests on the autos will help me avoid bud rot.

The big plant is an extra plant I had from my indoor grow so I decided to make her a mother…she is almost 9 months old. The other two are clones of her…i have one clone of the clones in a tent inside too…still rooting. These are Gorilla Icecream.

This is a Sweet Tartz photo

These are the two autos…local breeder. One is a cheese strain and the other a Kush.

High everyone! :waving_hand:

This year I’m growing out my last Jersey Juice and Hawaiian Staycation seeds. Have 2 of each, same as last years line up. Staryed indoors in early may, outside the week before mother’s day. Growing in 15gal fabric pots, Fox Farms Ocean Forest soil, with a buffer layer of Happy Frog.

We’ve had some great spring weather here for growing, and this year I’m off to a great start!

Whats the white soil?

Right, i was wondering the same thing. I think its perlite, but thats alot of perlite if so. Not to mention, it would blow everywhere at my place.

Looks like Perlite to me also.

The perlite on the top keeps the bugs out of the soil. Also help the soil not heat up…i accidentally ordered black grow bags…tan ones help keep the soil cooler too.
