@nip @plumbdand I see signs of pre flowering starting here in NJ by the end of July. I have one strain that is probably somewhere like 1-2 weeks ahead of the other strain.

Sun intensity is the cause. Look how the leaves are trying to get away from it by turning away and taco’ing trying avoid it. You’ll also see that a lot inside when people are pushing their lights too hard.

Looking superb :evergreen_tree::star_struck::partying_face: @Superkurt420

You could do some strategic super cropping on some tops, it’s New Moon today good for pruning/training/topping.

I don’t like the top too close to flowering, however, super cropping in the first few weeks of flower, OK in my experience. Topping too close to flower delays it, it’s something hormonal.

Specifically, it’s the Auxins being sent to the roots, signaling damaged, grow more roots and branches.
It’s seems like a confusion occurs, Veg? Wait! I thought I was supposed to flower.
This delays the transition a couple wks. It’s funny that they don’t mind it after transition for several weeks, cause it’s too late, Mother Nature says so. Oh well

Neem cake works @Dforce

A few years ago, I tested it outside on some tomatoes and peppers. I gave each NC (pellets) regularly, as it disappeared from the top dress. Months without pest problems later, I decided to clone a hot pepper plant. I never gave it NC and the rest was the same. I completely encircled that pot, semi-tightly, with the neem plants. That way any predators would have to pass through the others to get to it. I’ll be damned if the grasshoppers and hornworms didn’t start chewing it up after 1.5 wks. Suckers left everything else alone and passed through looking for a tastier food source.
