Which led grow lights would you suggest for veg in a 2×2×5 tent? Also which led lights for flower? Plan on flowering in the same tent, just gonna switch out the lights. Was thinking of a quantum board for flower, seeing great things about it! But I’m clueless about veg lights.

Wasn’t sure if I’d need two different led’s though. Been talking 2 another grower using a 3000k quantum board in a 2×2 space and she thinks that board alone would suffice for veg and flower. What do you think?

That photon can be build for like 150$ for veg. My veg room is 2x6. So could probably do cheaper

Ya, don’t worry about buying 2 different lights if you’re planning on going with leds. Check out a qb 135 kit.

I would just use 1 fixture for both. LEDs do a great job of both veg and flowering.
Cobs or Boards.

Photon Fantoms.
Sol-Skins.
LED strips.
There are plenty of quality options.

You don’t need 2 lights. Research the kit that @dbrn32 suggested. The QB are being used by several members with excellent results including myself. With your budget you can’t go wrong with the QBs

I have been using meizhi leds and love them I have 1-600 3-300s 2-450s all work great but I love my 630w cmh reflector and ballast with 2- 315 w Phillips 3100k Bulbs I veg and flower with both unless your looking to build something then @dbrn32 is your man

I use the 135w, 3000k quantum board that @dbrn32 suggested, in a 2’x2’x5’ and it works amazingly well. I love it, and highly recommend it.

How many plants can you grow in your 2×2×5 @raustin? And how tall do you let them get to before flowering?
One! I’ve tried growing more than one plant in my 2x2, but it was a big mistake. One plant needs at least a 2x2 space on its own. I veg my plants for about six weeks before I flip to flower. However, I am using a SCROG which keeps the plant short. I’ll tag you into my grow so you can see how I grow in a tiny tent. It can be done!
