Leaves Curling and Yellowing

Hey guys, first time grower here and I am running into some issues. I am currently on Day 15 of my grow, 1 AK47 and 1 Gelato x Purple Punch. Both are Autoflowers.

A couple days ago the leaves on the Gelato plant started to curl up and now they are starting to yellow. I dialed back the lighting and increased the humidity from 51 to 71. They are both being grown in coco coir with perlite, worm castings, and gaia green dry amendments added in. They were last watered yesterday with 500ml of ph balanced tap water and have seen no improvements.

Oddly enough the AK47 seems uneffected and is growing just fine. Any advice on what to do or what could be causing this would be greatly appreciated

Welcome to the neighborhood. Your new growth looks good. I’m not sure what you issue is but someone will get you fixed up.:v:

You need to water daily or at a minimum the coco needs to remain damp, give those bags a good drenching a few inches away from the main stem, those roots are starving and will spread out searching for the moisture you just added :love_you_gesture:

I was thinking this as well but was scared of overwatering since i went the dry amendments route and not liquid nutrients. Ill give them a good watering and update tomorrow. Thanks

Those dry amendments can’t break down under dry conditions. Keep it moist, coco and perlite drain very well :love_you_gesture:

Good to know! I also did not know tou had to pre buffer coco with calmag so i ordered some of that as well to add a small amount to my water to help. Thanks again for the advice!

UPDATE: Thanks again to @OGIncognito for the advice. I ended up watering around 2 Liters to fully soak the medium and after about twelve hours started to see immediate improvements and accelerated growth. The leaves arent 100% yet but have started uncurling quite a bit. Pics below
