I use hps and mh bulbs and still have the rooms stay at 72-75. One is a 400 watt the other is a 1000 watt haven’t had money to invest yet

And a great way to cool the room is get a 24" fan buy a copper worm and wrap it around the front of the fan and an ice chest full of ice water half full is best cause it’s not as heavy, make sure both openings are in the cooler so when the copper worm sucks up the water its automatically recycled back to the ice chest rig it to where when you turn the fan on it sucks water through the copper worm and circulates around the fan blowing ice cold air.
It’s quite interesting and works great and an efficient way to cool a grow room 
that’s how I have my 1000 watt room set up and 400 watt room
That’s fine I use my 400 and 1000 watt start to finish
This video can kinda give you some ideas I set mine up exactly like this in the video, only takes about 5 minutes maybe 10 to assemble it and to be a little cheaper than an ice block you can fill and use water bottles, even better water bottles are reusable ice blocks are not lol

I was using 400 watt HPS and cool tube and my girl loved it i think if i got bigger exhaust fan like 6 inch or 8 inch centrifugal my heat wouldnt of been in low 80 my 4 inch centrifugal can bearly keep up but as i said im on to LED for now but got all the old equipment haha

For that size probably a 6" fan woulda been perfect, and temps probably woulda hung around 76-78 degrees

Right, i can start a topic called “how to cool the grow room effectively” and have that just as a topic to help others so instead of one person teaching like you mentioned have us all learn together…touche my friend I like to see your thinking on your toes lol 
And I didn’t have to do much digging more over all it’s pretty simple really with minimal to no digging just a little explaining

Thing is id love to be able to close tent so maybe 4 inch im using now could be fresh air intake
Id try it you may have to get a slightly bigger fan for fresh air intake but something that size I don’t see why It wouldn’t work

At the moment fresh air is that big fan in front of closet blowing cold AC air into tent
