what is dli --direct light intake lol or what and how do you mesure it—no iphone android
I hate this forum for compatibility with iPhone and sharing information… ugh. Almost snapped my phone in half. Lol. If anything makes me leave this website it will be the glitches and errors… Shouldn’t take me 15 mins to share a link.

@Low its ok i got it watching it now thanks
@Graysin if you like you can check out my auto grow in supersoil-- welcome aboard
Your leaves are resting believe it or not @alienofasoul
@Low as far as if a light scedule matters as long as your getting the right amount of DLI:
Well plants can absorb anywhere from 800-1500 PPFD per hour without co2 supplemented.
Of course size of plant, leaf coverage, and amount of air circulation & co2 in the room air will all be determining factors.
At 12 hours with powerful enough lights to get 60 DLI or close, it’s really pushing the plant.
This is why I prefer 20hr at a lower intensity, and most auto growers do as it gives the plant less stress to try and absorb that light if the conditions are less than perfect in 12hr.
I’m sure 16 or 18hr would be fine as well.
Plants tend to stretch at night more then Durring the day from my understanding so more daylight has a couple advantages.
Heat is the biggest thing to manage, if it’s a struggle for someone then I would say ditch 20/4 and try a light scedule that is different (running st night) with lights off Durring the hottest hours of the day.
Curious as to what exactly 3-6-9-12 is? If I may ask?
Welcome to ILGM! I believe those are the defoliation times in weeks. Week 3 Week 6 Week 9 Week 12.
@yoshi can def explain it better then me.
@PurpNGold74 that’s it buddy , that’s the only 5 times I touch my plants as to any plant stress I call the 5 T’s , Topping , Training , Tucking , Trimming and Trellis !
But those weeks are the most crucial as a beginner wanting to learn moderate stress training g for a average to medium results are who knows her she might do like many are doing now , out growing me at the moment lol
!

Nice job man. She definitely gonna stretch a bit more. The other ladies are fat
man that northern lights is a picky one acts up a lot more than the rest 8-23-21
30 min. after water droopy leaves.
next door the green crack holding up great
oh yea i did cheat a bit and put some ILGM flower time in the water at 1/4 .
i dont talk about her Mrs Blueberry , but with no lst just trims is doing the best.
learned about bli and mols yesterday down loaded lux app and a mol converter to lux . only way out that i see is too keep the same height and do a net sea of green, must and will try it out now
Wow thats a beautiful view.
I hope my northern lights auto are the same. They are outside on 3gallon fabric pots
@SilvaBack203 sorry to say this but i did not like 3 gal. pots they grew out of it to fast and you should only transplant them once, after they pop and roots grow in the solo cup tried and is in 5 now but feel still small im thinking 7 or 10s now if the room is available
I did the 3 gallon pot since its late in the year to have em outside. Hopefully it gets air pruned and it grows
the air prune def. works with fabric pots but might stall the growth , good luck
happy growing
