Leaf discoloration and stem color changing

IMO discard all but what’s in the main rootball, she will stretch out of it into the new soil with TLC, its the time release pellets in the MG soil that are screwing with your plant.

I learned that lesson the hard way also. I had a photoperiod so I had time for any stress, but she bounced right back in 48 hours.

I waited until it was feeding time to transplant so she had fresh drink in new home.

Ok ill put her in a 5 gallon bucket tomorrow with the stuff i usually get and mix earthworm castings and bonemeal into it with the right ratio and get her into it. I think temps and lighting are also in play here because she was fine until i moved her from a 73ppf grow light to a 1000ppf light. Same day i moved her and turned up the intensity i started to notice the lighter leaves .

After new home drop her down to 800ppfd then increase gradually until desired PPFD if possible. So you don’t shock her further then intended .Just my thoughts about it.

I know for a fact ive shocked her with the light , i tried to go too hard to fast and too close. I knew better

If your light don’t dim could try lifting it higher to relieve some of thw stress.

Yes ,fully dimmable and adjustable

Sweet, what’s your current height from canopy if you know and what’s dimmer set to?

I had it at 100 % at a height of 15.5 inches to the closest cola. I dimmed it to 80 percent as advised. It was under a cheap lowes grow light because i had one finishing its flower under the marshydro

Ok 80% sounds good to me. After the new home, could lift light to 18inches for a few days an drop it back down slowly or put back to 100% when she starts to bounce back.

Thank you very much for the great advice and fast responses because ive been pissed all day lol. Im in a better mood now ,thx growmie

The extra 2.5in above the canopy will give a wider PPFD map but should be less intense while at 80% at 100% should increase your PPFD map along with intensity. If you have your heart set at 15.5in you could drop it back down after she is recovered, just keep an eye for light stress.

So you’re saying 100 percent at 18 woud be ok for now,oh and its not 15 i actually desire ive just read the closer it is the higher ppfd recieved to the plant

No, I was meaning after transplant to bigger pot an soil, keep it raised to 18 at 80% until she bounces back and the gradually lower it back to 15.5 or 100% at 18in for a few days then drop it back down slowly trying to keep light stress and shock to a minimum.

Oh ok i understood now. Thx so much and have a good day

Not a problem growbro. Nothing is an exact from plant to plant even same strains act different sometimes. Just don’t get discouraged brighter days are always ahead

I am still learning also, never stop learning, I’m new also but been out of work due to getting hurt so I’ve had time to not only be on here but looking up on other places also. Local library has a plethora of info on plants and soil.

That’s beautiful.

Have you thought about trying a SCROG net? Could give you an even canopy an increase your yield.
