Laying flat on soil

What happened here and how do I fix it? First picture is this morning, second picture is yesterday. My other two plants are doing fine.

Welcome to the forum! Loads of great info here.

Use something to add support and stand back up. If you don’t already, put a fan in the tent to create air flow. That will slow down the stretch. Also move the light closer to the plant. These are a few things the will help out.

It looks like there isnt enough light causing the seedlings to stretch. You can add soil around the stem to get it deeper and provide support.
What light are you using? Bottom line you need more. If using a T5 or CFL move it 2" from top of plant. Just far enough away that you dont burn it.

Good advice has been given
they are stretching to much and causing the stem to bend over support them with a stick and move light closer
Also a small fan blowing in them will help stem strength

Thanks guys! I lowered my lights, switched out my little fan for two clip ons, and propped her up. Hopefully that does the trick!

@jjbeck1218…problem is poor lighting. Babies reaching for decent light source.

solution: get better lights…closer.

Problem: babies too tall and flopping down…

solution: get pipe cleaners…make loop around seedling…stick in dirt.to support babies
