Large fan leaves good or bad

I’m on my 4th grow still a rookie I’m growing in promix and using advanced nutrients just their beginners kit .ive read both that very large fan leaves are good and I’ve read bad and to trim them .Whats yalls opinion?

I agree fan leaves in good health are always good! My northern lights fan leaves are massive! As NL genetics usually they always do have large fan leaves and she is thriving

As others have mentioned, big fan leaves are good fan leaves. There’s no need to remove them unless they interfere with flowers later on but right now they are making energy for the plant so leave them alone.

Big fan leaves can be from genetics or good light and nutrients when the plant is young.

As long as they are not interfering with the internal fan leaves (shading or covering too much) large fan leaves are great. It’s the solar source to help the plant grow. I will trim the large ones in the center of the plant, or the back of the plant leaves if they are not in direct sunlight. Other than that, let those power plants go! Best of luck.

Leave them until they are shading buds. Then either tuck or trim them. Bad if you thought it was a Sativa! Looking good.

Good storage tanks should your medium run low on nutrients.
