Anyone know if I’m stuck with the equivalent of a horse stable putrid smell …does the living soil smell dissipate?
If not I’m going to 24/0 so it starts reeking like weed sooner

Good thing I have a carbon filter and a tent every time I open the zipper it reeks the entire garage out

Good microbes will eventually take over. They did with my cat piss smelling soil,
The smell was horrendous.

Unbearable awful smell from the living soil I cannot believe it …never imagined I would deal with it this bad …it’s hard to even open the tent to want to do anything …
And my RH has taken a dive

The other 4 bases will be used for runoff until they are big enough to use the wick / self watering system .

So an update on the self watering base from Ac infinity …
The orange level indicator was fully touching the inside of the dome yesterday and now
So far so good I guess …I will and should only have to worry about keeping the base full …
Also a new addition to the tent a Govee humidifier …
In hindsight Vivosun makes an hot or cool air mist humidifier and I should have gotten that however this one seems to be working my RH is back up over 45 after about 48 hours of plummeting when I added the 4 baby yetis …which have not broken ground yet …hope they do soon
I also know why living soil works so well …
Because you never wanna open the tent and the environment stays pretty stable that way
Lolol it stinks but seems to be subsiding some anyway
