Kozmoz harvest check it!

Hi yall … so many have been following me. I’ve been on a 20/4 light cycle for 65 days… Exactly 10 weeks. Ive used an amazing line of nutrients called foop. Everything just got huge and filled my tent. My trichrome pictures mostly look all cloudy and I can see some amber around… Not too much amber but it’s there. I was talking to the owner of foop, and showed him some pictures. My one cola formed some form of bud rot. I was able to snip the top part of bud off… Anyways, he asked his grower’s and fealt like I should just harvest to play it safe. My temp as been 85 during day 70 night… Humidity around 50… Sometimes 60 at night. So here are some pics, I feel like I did the right thing???

Looks like you pulled a little early.

At least this one. Hard to tell for most of the photos you took. :pensive:

I feel like the bud rot was going to continue… That’s what most people say… I don’t smoke… So I think it probebly doesn’t even matter if it’s all going to oil

Looks fantastic, congratulations!

Everything seemed like 50 percent white hairs, 50 percent orange… with mostly all cloudy trichromes and some amber

I fealt like so many sugar leaves, the tiny ones, where drying up right into the main cola… Maybe it’s what cause the first sign of rot? Anyways, ya probebly a little early, but these are the heaviest THC producing plants available, maybe I chopped them perfect timing? Who’s to say ?

As long as you are happy in the end, is all that matters. Nice fat buds.

Looks early to me, tons of white hairs & few receding orange, and looks like you might have hit lockout or she was starving late in the game, good luck. She was chowing more calcium than you had available. Learning for the next run.

Again as long as you are happy! That is the only end game!

Ya I’m not sure if I over reacted about the bud rot, but looking into it, it seemed like high potential it could spread! Any ody else here have similar story about bud rot? I played it safe , and chopped

I think I’m happy! I don’t smoke… So I only do edibles… With that said, I’m not sure if harvesting a little early will even effect me? Oil only holds so much thc… So I don’t think it’ll effect my experience

I have never experienced bud rot but yes, it will spread.

I lost a Strawberry Cheesecake to bud rot. She hermied and was banished to the porch during summer humidity. The rot will spread quickly and you will have to watch during the drying period as well. Fed it to the goat.

So what I’m getting… Is that it probebly was good that I harvested!??
Crazy bud rot… Maybe it was just too hot and humid… I tried controlling everything… I cut it all at first signs of rot… Everything else seems fine… will keep a eye while drying!

Looking back at most of your posts I see beautiful, lush, bushy, thick plants. Very jungle like. That is prime breeding ground for rot and mold as well.
Super dense vegetation, while quite appealing to the eye, is not generally advised.

And mother nature is still laughing!
She is a cruel mistress but if/when she favors you, it is priceless.

I’m sure there was a way to mitigate the rot and let them finish but that is currently beyond my paygrade.
Not sure how rot affects the finished oil or how much maturity matters.

Reach out to Shane at 707, he breeds a bunch of crosses just for extraction.

Right now I’m rot free! Everything looks amazing under the microscope! Super drip! Ya it was like a jungle and took 30 minutes to fit them in there and interlock there branches so they wouldn’t rub! I might have close to two pounds … Its all big and juicy! Drip city…but yeah, less plants next time… At least one less
