Her 1st day of light and sun 
Yesterday was 1st watering. I sat her out before the rain storm and let her take it all day. Then the nice soft sun today
I’ve rotted more cacti cuttings then I’ve rooted 
Gave this special one a few extra drying weeks to make damn sure it rooted before watering. I couldn’t pull it out so must be rooted

Best time of year to transplant/ up-pot a LW?
Believe I’ma make my own pot out of PVC so it’ll be taller/deeper
If I’m going to bring them inside under lights for winter then I don’t hibranate them correct?
Can I not hibranate the Torch also or is it best to just let them chill for winter?

Hibernation
Correct
You can skip hibernation to reduce etiolation from lack of light. They can go a couple seasons that way before needing rest.
Most online advice is first hand knowledge of a specific environment and could go bad. Everyone’s environment is different, so you have to find what works best for you. My best teacher has been experience and trial and error of soil mixes; especially with finicky Bridgesii.
My advice is lots of water and a monthly feed with flowering nutes. Treat the Patch & Peru like cannabis. Look for signs of sunburn from lack of water. These tropical cacti love water and can sit in a pool for weeks without rot and will show explosive growth. Some people even grow them in hydro. Most things come down to lack of water from my experience.

I let them outgrow the pots when singles. if grouped, when they get close to touching before separation to singles.
