Yeah printing RH VPD chart is great, I laminated it with the wifeys laminator and now it sits pinned to the grow tent
I got the little ladies in soil tonight. Now the hard part. Waiting to see them spring to life. We will see how my patience works out. And after work I checked and the 4th seed had a taproot. So all 4 in soil.
Temp is currently 81 degrees. The pic was a couple hours ago.
Gracias Amigo
No problem!!
Work has been crazy. I am one of the lucky ones and am working from home. I am in IT so it has been real crazy. But the first plant popped up today. I am excited. 1 down 3 to go.
All 4 have sprung up through the dirt. Looking good so far. No issues encountered yet. Today is 1 week since I dropped the seeds in water. In real life I have 4 daughters. I decided to name this first batch after them. I will just their first initial for their privacy. I named them in the order that they came up from the soil. From left to right in order of age they are E, R, C, K. E and K are Glue Gelato and R and C are LSD. Now we can have a good sibling rivalry.
Let the saga begin ![]()
Following your grow. Doing the same type myself. Iâd like to piggy back on your thread if thatâs ok? Hope you donât mind. Would like to share setup and pics instead of starting another thread thatâs basically the same.
That would be great. Welcome aboard. Looking forward to comparing notes and pics.
Ok so here we go. Intended to start a grow sooner but that became a bit difficult as I had my son in the house. He has since moved in with his girlfriend and with us practicing shelter at home now is the perfect time.
Setup;
ILGM auto mix pack Am Haze, Blueberry, Lowrider(was supposed to be N Lights)
Apollo 4x4 grow tent
2 Iplantop â1000 wattâ lights
1 Budget Led 250 r-spec light
Vivosun 6" inline fan w/carbon filter
2 6" clip fans
5 gal fabric pots w/kind soil layered with FFOF and miracle grow organic as buffer for seedling in peat pellet
Watering with Brita filtered water PHâd to 6.6
Started 3 seeds one of each in peat pellets only one germinated the Am Haze still waiting to see if the Lowrider will germinate Blueberry seems to be a dud, could be user error also.
Thatâs ok though I think one plant will be plenty of work seeing as Iâm learning as I go.
Dropped seeds 3/21 the Am Haze sprouted 3/24 and seems to be doing well (pics to be included).
Have been struggling with temp and humidity control but slowly working through that. I think it will get harder to control as I go forward and need to isolate odor. My tent is in a bedroom at the farthest point from the ac/heat so it doesnât get as much ac as I would like, but Iâll figure things out as needed.
If you have a basement and look at the supply ductwork for the air/heating there usually are levers (metal lever sticking out of duct) along the supply ducts that can be partially closed to restrict and even closed to redirect flow stronger to other areas. Just a thought to consider. Along with that closing of registers in rooms not used may also help.
Good temp you got therr
Iâm in Tejas. Duct work runs through attic no basements here house is on solid limestone basements and unground pools are prohibitively expense. But your idea of closing registers to other rooms is something that I hadnât considered, you know how it is when you overthink things the obvious eludes you. Thanks.
Thanks! Itâs been a bit of a challenge. Getting dialed for now. Summer is coming though.
Should I be concerned about the plant on the right? The leaf on the right has been kind of wilted since it came up. It is getting bigger but is still kind of folded under itself.
Other than that they are looking good and getting taller.
I wouldnât worry too much. The plant is gonna lose those leaves at some point. Looking good otherwise. How confident are you with the Kind soil. I did Kind soil for the same reason you did. Donât want mess with nutes if I donât have to. I figured between the Kind soil and the FFOF I should be able to get the plant to the finish considering theyâre autos.
I feel pretty good about the Kind soil. The first grow journal I read was a grower using Kind soil. And he did photos. The soil held up till harvest so I think it should be good.
Same. Did a good amount of research before diving in.
Itâs heathy no sweat. Let it buck
@pptrsha1Here is what I have so far.
