Saw thread on over watering but I have had this sense wk 5ish if not for what looks like to much water, with flat leaves it would look very healthy sometimes some leaves are flat and wanting more light but few of them.
Drooping around watering time or light on or off is normal. You’ve got a little clawing going on, which leads one to believe that there are some other problems going on.

Watering is not constantly the same seems to hold water for a long time. Can let dry maybe not enough? Can lift with one hand. Add a QT. doesn’t perk up, on the way to drying doesn’t perk up. Last time I was able to water till I had run off 2 wks ago PH run off was 6.4 PH. Watered several times sense without runoff. I’m blindly trying things can’t get a grip. Been like this sense wk 5 now on wk 8 third wk of blooming now. Firt. Water PH 6.5. Jacks 1/8 tsp 20/20/20, 1/8 tsp Miracle Grow 15/30/15, 1.5 tsp G.H. liqiud kool bloom 0/10/10.
Yeah , at this point plant size Water to run off about 20% let the pots dry out 3 or 4 days whatever it takes. It can get to the point where they dry out in 2 days when plant consumes more water. That can vary depending on the size of the pots an temperature in grow space. Personally my pots dry out in about 3 days and I keep repeating. Your ph numbers sounds good. I would drop the miracle grow. Also next grow you might look at the fabric pots much more forgiven.
happy growing
LSD fem., Miracle Grow moisture control soil, pots, water PH mid to high 7s, adjusted to firt. Water 6.5PH. last time was checked 6.4 PH runoff, NA, indoor, NA, over head lights T5 4ft 8 bulb fixture 54 watt bulbs 4 FS/UV and 4 bloom bulbs 2 colors now, total 432 watts, side lighting 14 watts 20 T5 led bulbs, 5 2ft 4 bulb fixtures total 280 Watts, day temp. low to mid 80s, night low 60s, RH day mid to low 50s Night 60 RH, small oscillating 12” fan. Humidifiers, no. pics of these are all I can add to this.
A lot of people have problems with Miracle Grow. It contains time release nutes that nuke your plant with nutes and submarines your pH every time you water. I’m surprised (and happy) that you aren’t having pH problems. A runoff pH of 6.4 is good. I would use a proper cannabis soil (Fox Farm, Roots Organics, Black Magic, or coco) for your next grow to avoid PPM and pH problems.
You are going to need lighting with red spectrum by the time you get to flowering. T5 bulbs are predominantly blue and green spectrum with very little red spectrum.
Keep an eye on your pH, PPM, and watering and you should be fine going forward. Given your environment it could be that chronically wet soil is causing your problems.
Yes, on next grow looking at bergmans firt. Sounds like no additives needed, that would make it much easier? looks affordable always have used M.G. just because it is what I had at the time years ago so have just always used and I don’t think it goes bad I only grow in winter so I worry about other firt.s going bad. First time I am legal so first time had any advice. Its all been so helpful. Yes am going too start 20% runoff, was just trickle runoff and stop. I see people use fabric pots but not sure how that helps? Helps evaporation?
Correct. Fabric pots breathe and are better than rigid plastic pots. Oxygen helps root health, so the breathing is a good thing. Cannabis prefers wet/dry cycles, so fabric pots help the soil dry out more evenly.
Fabric pots are the way to go imo. They are hard to over water because excess just come out of sides and bottom. Don’t let the pots sit in the runoff. Toss the MG.
Happy harvesting
Looking at bergman firt. for next grow, nothing else to add to it? I’ll have to check on ppm tool for next grow, not sure what that does but I see that mentioned all the time. I do have 2 colors of red bloom bulbs In my over head light. Side light is all led veg. bulbs. My budget starts out at 0 $ just get things a little at a time during off season. I’ll check on dif. Soil also. Thanks
Yes will change firt… Looking at bergman firt. for next grow and dif. Soil also. Look at bags too. Thanks
Thanks all for so much fresh knowledge. Nice to finely have some help sense I became legal, I came in here, it has been great.
Yes legal is great. :![]()
@Samual
Their moisture control formula contains the water beads (like orbeez or in a diaper) that swell up and hold moisture and nutes. That leaves you very little control. I am impressed you are doing so well.
Nice job.![]()
Just at a glance i see miracle grow. 15/30/15. Time released. N will stay high all the way with no control each water. Just my thoughts. I used MG once. Thank goodness 1 plant. Grew but not well. It is a BOSS on peppers.
Guys and Gals what are your thoughts on repotting the girls into fabric with a proper soil? Photo. Still vegging. Pretty healthy. Have the recovery time with a carefull transfer and patience if they shock a week. Just curious on thoughts. I dropped girl in the 20 gal and broke her in half during transplant from a 5. Recovered her. Shocked a week or so.
