Just started out, big rookie

Hi all,
I have a vivosun smart grow set-up in my closet and I just planted my seeds two days ago. Im only growing two plants one Grandaddy purp and one super skunk. Ive got my lighting set to 18/6 with plenty of airflow to the tent. Im using Fox Farm happy frog soil and ive been reading up on nutrients for when they reach vegetative and flower stages and theres so many, i genuinely dont know where to start. Id like everything to be as organic as possible but again not sure where to start, i also need discretion to be a top priority. What nutrient products should i get and when do i add them or do i even need them? I know i should wait until they hit the vegetative phase before I add anything but thats about all i know, im still very green in the gills so to speak as i am quite literally two days into my journey. Thank you all for your time and any information.

Lmaoo yeah smell was my biggest concern and why i waited this long to try my hand at growing, ive partaken for years, and always wanted to grow my own lil buddys, so why not lol. Im currently running a carbon filter on the intake inside the tent and on the exhaust outside the tent, which i read was a little overkill when i was researching my tent but i figured better safe then sorry.

:rofl::rofl::facepunch: my first two runs was without a filter and I spent all day at work balled up in knots worrying I was going to come home to you know who in my driveway. Personally I think running two filters is a little bit overkill lol but if it makes you feel better rock on Growmie!! I only run my filters whenever I’m in the flower phase. I got tired of paying sorry people to sit on a couch while I paid their bills and looking for it all the time is the reason I started growing. I was raised on a farm and took what I learned there and shoved it all inside a little tent LOL :rofl::rofl::laughing:.

Welcome to the forum.
Organic is my path as well.
Are the seeds/seedlings already in their final pot?
If they are than you will want to get some organic nutrients that will feed the soil critters (bacteria, fungi, Protozoa, nematodes and so on. Those critters in the soil will do the work breaking down the organic amendments pooping out and or they get eaten by bigger critters and cycle the nutrients so that it is then available to the plants roots etc.
Worm castings (worm poo) is an awesome compost to have around and adding it to the topsoil or into a soil mix prior to planting helps introduce many of those critters. You can also brew an aerated compost tea with it and some unsulphered molasses to water the plants during the grow.
I’ll post a few sites that you’ll want to look at as well where you can find individual nutrients as well as already mixed nutrients to use for say flowering stage.
Check out down to earth fertilizers I use many of their products and it’s a company that cares about us and the plants and the planet.

Build a soil is another company to check out as well.
I grabbed a couple screen shots from their site to help direct you better for top dressing prebuilt amendments for flower etc.

Hope this helps get you started on your path.
Many other companies and options out there as well just wanted to toss these at you.
A member here @Roadsideorganics.ok aslo offers what your looking for.

Enjoy the day

Please be relaxed and dont overwater the girls. Best to have them reach looking than drown. If you think when young they are not growing they are. Roots establishing. Once ready veg will start and you can water well.

Welcome @Cheflemons106. Thanks for the tag @DarhkGrows
I too am an organic grower. I started growing in happy frog soil with bottled nutrients. I learned a lot about organic growing from some of the great members here like budbrother and skydiver. l didn’t want to use bottled nutes anymore, organic living soil was the best path for me so I used my old used happy frog soil and ammended it to start my living soil pots. I quickly realized that moving 20 and 30 gallon pots of soil was not easy so now for indoor grows, I use an Earthbox with organic living soil. Its basically a SIP ( sub irrigated planter) I moved my big pots of soil outside and still use them outdoors for food growing. Now that I’m finally legal in my state, i will be growing some cannabis in my big outdoor living soil pots again. I have a journal here. I am really bad at updates but feel free to check out my journal. My best advice is to learn about the soil food web and tag organic growers with any questions. Also, start your compost pile if you haven’t already. Theres a lot of great organic growers here who will happily offer guidance and answer questions. Happy growing :v::green_heart::dash:
