Hey @peachfuzz I deeply feel your angst. Though none of us can endure this moment for you, we are all here to support and listen. Its just the frailty of the human condition. Right before my mom passed (damnit, now im crying) she told me similar things and to celebrate her life. You had your map shattered and now you are having to remap everything. That takes time and you’ll never be that boy again, but with the passing of the old comes the newness of thhe unknown. Sometimes its enough to just keep remapping the new world and that can be its own quest. Try to find light in the smallest of things and focus on the good in life. Thats tough these days buts its there. I started by exiting social media and quit following the news. Its just a cesspool of negativity that intentionally ignores the good. I buried myself in Jordan Petersons work and it changed my focus and direction.
I will keep you and your family in my prayers.
@peachfuzz I’ve seen you around here for a long time. LOTS OF HEARTS FROM YOU through the years. I hate to see you going through these struggles. I believe that if we stay strong, reach out and talk when we need to, we can get through anything. The ILGM FAMILY is pretty strong . So if you need to talk there will be someone willing to help.

I’ve been off of here a few months myself for other reasons, but wanted to show my support.
It is very hard, my wife’s mother passed 6 years ago, hit her very hard, I didn’t totally understand, the roller coaster ride it put her on for 4 straight years was hard, but all I could do was support her and be there for her. I feel like I couldn’t do anything to help her, but she tells me now she couldn’t have gotten through it without my support.
So to you my friend I am here if you need anything, to talk, whatever. To your wife, just be there, that support is more healing then you will ever realize.
Sorry for your loss my brother it does hit hardi lost all my elders within a 6 yr span father ,then both my grandparents which was his mom and dad, then lost my mom i like you was so mad i shook my fist and asked why i still cry at times but have come to realize that with each passing i gained a new life my grandchildren i know its all his plan and sometimes i wont understand but he gives me the strength i need to endure keep the faith growmie
