She just started showing last night. However, it looks to me like the brown part is popping up, not the lighter green. Is that right?
Ya looks like it hasn’t sprouted the leaves out of the seed yet
It just broke surface. Plants don’t come out full fowered.
The only thing I could think of is that it looks like it wasn’t buried deep enough so the dirt wasn’t able to pull the seed shell off of the leaves it should be fine though
I germinate my seeds in a bag with a paper towel and then transplant them into dirt so that I don’t normally see something like that
It just looked to me like the root was popping out and not the new stem.
Roots don’t grow to the top. They go down as the water also goes down to the bottom and out. Thus roots are looking for water.
LMAO, yea I get that…, hence my confusion at what I was looking at that.
The leaves will probably pop out in 24 to 36 hours tops. At least from my massive growing experience.
I’ve have the first set of real leaves on plant. It has been in soil for 7 days now. It might be two inches tall and that’s it it. I have it on a 18/6 rotation, 82F down to 71F at night. Running 60% humidity. Shouldn’t this be a lot bigger by now? 1000w LED about 24 inches away. I see where they say in 3 weeks there are full sets of leaves.
Almost looks upside-down
@Tinman: That’s what I have been saying.
Ive never had it happen to me ,but something is not right, are those green leafs coming up out of the soil by the steam?
@Tinman I can’t be sure. I don’t want to disturb just yet in case I make it worse.
