What kind of soil are you using?

And what kind of water? RO, tap? Distilled?

FF Soil and distilled water I just ordered some earth dust

Better to water out away from the main stem to prevent damping off and also to encourage root growth. Roots on the plant are already 6 to 10 inches away from the base looking for water and food.

@HunnyButta should keep this thread as or make a grow journal so you can keep all your info in one spot. Easier to find and reread hints and tips as well as provides a place for newbies to learn from the trials and tribulations of your grow journey. If you make a new thread for Journal, tag me in it so I can follow along. Excited to see you grow! @Borderryan22 uses Earth Dust, there are others too, im sure. I know he does and is always helpful when called upon so tag him if you have questions about it. That WW seed germ yet?
Also, distilled water is not ph stable, you will need calmag to suplement it. For info: water with no dissolved solids wont hold its own ph, it must have at least 250-350ppm tds in order to hold its own ph. This is important on water only days.

Ok how do I create journal on the forum also. Does it matter what cal mag

No, but some are more diluted. Ive use botanicare and TPS calmag complete with sucess. Botanicare takes 3-5ml per gallon TPS takes 2ml. I would recommend a switch from distilled to RO. Distilled gallons cost a dollar or 2 where as RO is about .30 cents a gallon at a refill station, I get mine from walmart.

As for a journal, hit the three bars at the top of screen next to your avatar img. Select grow journals from the lower part of the window that pops up.

Create a new topic Call it whatever you like. Then invite people to follow it by tagging them. @Docnraq for example. Your first post should be a tell all about your setup, nute line, plant types, lights the works. It helps others to see what you got going on.

There are a few Earthdust growers here @MeEasy @Storm @Beck I can remember off the top of my head. I have a list started somewhere.

You will not regret it. Reuse everytime. Gets better and better. Tap water. If heavy chlorine a pinch of vitamin c or sit it out overnight. No ph. No runoff test. No flush. Grow/chop/cure/smoke.

I am sooooo lazy growing. I open temt…pour water. Close tent grab controller. Or bail. Perfect stuff for me. I DO NOT miss nutes even though faster and bigger. Like @MeEasy ED all the way.

Just opened that tent and man I am glad my carbon is hooked up.

I love Earthdust! Easy to use and I am not chasing down a nutrient deficiency every week. With my bad back there is no way I could have kept up with this outside grow.

At this point, follow the directions on the bag for how many gallons of soil you have but reduce the amount if the soil has amendments in it. Carefully rake it into the top of the soil. Keep the soil moist not wet. In about 2-4 weeks you will have a colony of microbes that will form a symbiotic relationship with your plant.

Feed the soil - feed the plant.

@MeEasy @Storm did I miss anything?

Only that the @MeEasy thread will answer probably any question you have for this stuff…:grin:. It is not complicated for sure.
