@Grizzlyjer77 welcome aboard. Do you have something growing now? Show us a pic.
Yes I have three different strains growing. Just finished one that I grew from seed, 3 plants, turned out really nice, I have three of a second strain, and three of a third strain, and a 4 foot tall and four foot around mother plant I named Frankenstina. Do not know the names of the strains, but it all started with one little scrawny plant that I got in late September. Of course, we never really intend to end up with so many plants, but who has the heart to kill them once they take root? The first 3 pics are of Frankenstina.
The next three are of an indica strain that is the crystaliest bud I have ever seen or grown.
And the last four are of the three from seed that I just harvested. The other 7 are still in the room, finishing. Harvested the ones from seed at 49 days. I think they may have been an auto lower strain. They were super easy to grow and grew very symmetrical with minimal need for training. The other 7 are at53 days right now from flip. I think they have around another 21 days to go. Or thereabouts. We will see. Can’t wait to see what the yield is from Frankenstina.
Wow…you have a lot going on. That’s awesome you can keep that many balls in the air.
Lol, thanks, but it wasn’t really intended to be like this. I slacked off way back when I got the first plant, which is now Frankenstina. I screwed around a little too long and she just barely started to bud right before I got enough lights and got the room set up, so when I brought her in she was already swung into flower, and I didn’t have any clones of her or anything else yet, and I didn’t have enough lights, or the correct lights just to let her do her thing, so I put her on 18-6 light cycle and starter feeding her high nitrogen food, (I know I’ll probably catch a little flack, but I decided to try the Miracle Gro Performance Organics plant food, which had a 10-8-3 NPK and is water soluble) and set to task to bring her back into veg. That was back in late August, early September… Somewhere around there. And when I brought her inside she was only being lit by 2 24 inch led grow lights from Harbor Freight. Lol. Barely suitable light for seedlings, and I’m trying to light up an 18 inch tall plant that has gone into flower on me. So, to keep it from stretching and going all lanky on me I went and ordered a 400 watt LED full spectrum 2’x2’ square light setup. Huge difference. Then a buddy showed up with 2 huge garbage bags full of fresh trim, and as I sifted through it I found several suitable potential clones, which I dipped in root tone and stuck into dirt. So now, at mid September I have Frankenstina, still coming out of flower, 6 clones from her, and six clones from the trim that my buddy brought me, for a total of 13 plants all of a sudden..by this time Frankenstina is growing a little wild and I had to keep tying her down and spreading her out so she would t grow too tall. Then, I planted the four seeds I had scored out of a bag of buds a couple years ago, and saved the seeds because the bud was fantastic couch weed. I remember we didn’t get a bit of work done for like two days while we worked on that bag of weed. So I was pretty excited to get those sprouted and try to grow some more of that weed. So I planted the four seeds on October 1. All four sprouted. After they got their first four sets of leaves I took a lower branch from each and put them in a bottle of water and placed them in the dark in my closet. Within 10 days they had showed me that I had three females and one male, which I carefully removed, and buried in the back yard RIP. Lol. I let those three grow, along with the other 13 and decided I needed more light. So I picked up a super nice HPS from a fellow growers, and friend in exchange for some clones of all my strains. (Pretty damn good trade if you ask me)! It’s a Gavita Pro 1000e, adjustable from 600 to 1150 watts. Wow what a difference. Now my basement looks like sunrise when the lights are on! Lol. I decided I have put enough time and effort into this first grow and got everything dialed in to where I’m comfortable that the next grow will go much smoother. So I flipped the lights to 12-12 on November 29. I have since harvested my three from seed, and they awarded me 6 1/2 ounces of dried and now curing budz. Can’t wait for the next two strains to be done! Oh, and one of the plants had a heart on!
