Once you get through the initial droopiness of the DWC it’s going to far surpass the growth of the potted plants.

@WickedAle when i planted her in the netting pot just a week ago her roots weren’t even 3 inches long and now they are everywhere. Question though while i have you here…whats the easiest way to change the water once the roots start to get super long and filling the bucket?

Look good to me! Could you do me a favor and start one thread and that way we can keep all your questions and answers and pictures all in one place. That way we don’t get lost jumping around

Just like you started this thread… Title one “My grow journal” (but use your name or whatever you wanna call it). Just makes it easier for everyone. Some people journal each grow and some people keep an ongoing thread.

I just swap out my bucket to change nutes. All of my lines go through the lid so I just lift the plant/lid allow to drip off then swap to new bucket.

Im growing in my basement so unfortunately i have some stairs to haul the water up . Not too bad though. Atleast it is only 1 bucket lol.

My bathroom is in the next room too but our reservoir is huge so we just purchased a water transfer pump, that way we don’t have to move the plants at all. All of my lines go through my lid as well, had them in the res at first. We either raise the lid, while the other slides a new res under or now use the water pump. Water pump seems to be easiest thus far as the plants aren’t stressed and we don’t have to carry 150lb of water.

I’d say since yours is small, listen to @WickedAle advice and swap buckets
