i keep anything that has trichomes on it and toss the rest. but I should be trying to use it all for…whatever you use fan leaves for. i’ve just been chucking trash bags full of leaves out. If it has trichomes use it. I made green dragon and glycerin tincture as well as tons of butter and hash.

When plant is actively growing in veg you can harvest leaves to go in your salad: not bad actually. Or pan-fried in oil: never tried it but supposed to be good.

I eat a lot of salad cause I’m fat. 
I was wondering about the leaves and need to look into that.

Love a good garnish… isn’t that the frilly green thing on a expensive plate of food that you dont eat 
Might have to pull them out after 36+ hrs and not the full 48 hrs. Otherwise I might have to wait over 48 hrs until I finish work and all that and start trimming. Does it matter if its less or more than 48 hrs?

48hr is ideal from the data I’ve seen but if you can’t do it you can’t do it. I had to harvest after 4hr of darkness on my PK because I didn’t want to setup a whole new tent for 1jar of bud… It’s all about doing the best you can

Does it matter when you turn off lights for 48 hours before cutting?
Example can I turn them off when they wake up when lights turn off?should I do it mid day or once they turn of for the night should I just not have lights turn on from here on?
Nope doesn’t matter.
The light degrades thc, so the idea is to give it some growth time and use up all the energy it has to pump out tricombs without it being light damaged.
Followed by cutting main stock off as soon as light comes on (less then 2min) so that nutrients doesn’t rush up from the root zone into the plant material.

So don’t expose plants to more than 2 minutes of light when I cut?

Correct, open tent cut the main stem asap. Then your good, hang it and slowly dismantle /trim it.

I have 8plants to chop and just don’t think I can chop and hang all 8 in under 2 min
