Its nice to be able to trade for sure. Its not overly active but that is ok. I have done one trade so far. They even have a contest by several members. One is about the largest Cola size.

Just a quick update on the landraces
The weather here has been cold and wet for the last week or so and that has really put the brakes on growth. That said, we cant control the climate!
The johaars are now well over 7 feet tall…

The Balkhis are around 5 feet and pretty thick!

Well you know I am following. Oh how I wish I could grow in a green house here. Texas you suck. :+1:
Good plan you have.

You would weld your plants in a greenhouse there! To be honest I would prefer them to be under the sky, but they get too big to move under cover. And late season varieties would rot on the stem mid september. Im hoping I can get to early November? Maybe mid?

Well you have way colder temps to deal with. In theory, the green house will warm up with sunlight. Here outside you have to deal with a lot of freaking insects. Plus temps hitting past 115 degrees. Then add the salt air with humidity.

If I had land with privacy I would have a Green house and grow plants that can tolerate sub-tropical climate.

yeah but 110 American and sunny! ? A greenhouse would be like being in lava! Oh m gee! Cant imagine the stifling heat, it would be hard to breath.
It would be 140 in there!

They put up big fans in green houses here. Only way to cool them. When the house AC unit went out it was almost 100 degrees inside. They had to go into the attic and it hit almost 150 degrees. Oh that was bad as I went up to get them cold drinks to rehydrate aka Gatorade.

No shit! That would suck!

@Cannabian I had the neighbor kid look to see what was wrong with my bug arse Dodge 2500 5.9L cummins diesel. The Transmission radiator hose had a big hole.

It should be fixed tomorrow. I can’t wait as I want to load up my he aluminum canoe about as long as my Dosge pickup. I just got indoors out of the Texas heat to cool off.

My Blueberry Kush Auto smells so good right now
