As you can see I just transplanted these and this is strictly a seed run only to keep this special and unique cultivar going for people to enjoy!..
I’m keeping things simple. Medium is 80 percent peat and the rest compost and ewc. I’ll just be using Jacks soluble because I’m not making bud. It’s just for seed. Otherwise if I let these plants mature I can’t keep the cycle growing because seeds take less time to make then mature bud… I am using a little azomite and green sand along with ms. For good viable uniform seeds…

That’s why the drip is setup. It’s going to be a sea of green…

What a great garden. I have a few Malawi seeds to drop in a couple weeks.

Thanks @beachglass. I love Malawi strains. They have body numbing effects I think these genetics are gonna be great.

Hows your malawi popping going?
Heres an update on the jezahel. This is what yours are gonna look like if its a real malawi.
This strain is leaning malawi real hard…

Thanks! Your going to enjoy growing them! Its like having a part of africa in your grow… Great buz too. Body and head numbing!

@JIL I applaud your efforts to save this strain! Hopefully there are people all over trying to rescue and preserve the rapidly disappearing “old school” weed.
There’s posts all over the net about the strains that don’t seem to exist anymore and people searching them out.

If you ever need any help growing out all those seeds just let me know!

Keep on truckin’ brother!!

Thanks @Tylersays! Yeah there is very little info on landraces or hybrid landraces like the one im doing now. It sure does lean Malawi. The last preservation run i did was haze x afritiva which has malawi in it and it too leaned way malawi. These last 2 runs i have been doing is definitely malawi dominant. Low ferts low ph and string light spectrum with a 10/14 light cycle tapering down to 7 on the last ew weeks and you got it whooped. They dont need many ferts. Just some top dressing and ferments will do you well…
I have been using coconut water and aloe vera gel with kelp in it as well, and a little bit of rock dust and ms. Do that and you will have some super potent mind and body numbing malawi smoke…
