I have not tried that @Big123 Is that a foliar spray?
I also have a ready to spray insecticide from SNS. it’s a foliar spray I use on the outside flower’s/bushes that the aphids like.
It’s called SNS-PC, here’s the ingredients on that
-
Active Ingredients1.00%
-
Peppermint Extract1.00%
-
Inert Ingredients 99.00%
Purified water, Polyglyceryl oleate, Lauric acid, Citric acid, Soap & Sodium stearate
- Total100%
It can be given in water or a foliar spray - I have only sprayed it when applying.
Thanks, I’ll check it out
Never used/heard of it.
If it’s not bugs I wouldn’t do a thing…lol
Water will wash off most of they are bugs.
Also simple natural soap and water will work.
I use Dr. Bronners if needed and mix with water and spray…potassium salts of fatty acids (main ingredient in natural soaps) blows them up…all soft bodied insects AND the covid virus…lol
The girls today
AR
CJ
GL
Still bug searching on all the girls and so far nothing found. I’m getting my tea brewer supplies together to get that built. Busy day getting inside chores done while its rainy out. Off to water the autos. Also, I’m hoping to get my 3rd tent set up today also if I have time. Have a happy day
They’re looking very good I’m set to watch I always learn watching others happy growing
They have really taken off in that living soil. Nice job!
Nice! time to crank up production They’re all looking very nice today Jewels
(@Gremmall set me straight on the living soil thing…no flush lol)
Yes @Mote I love no flush, no bottled nutes, all organic. I used my old used Happy Frog and amended with even better goodies than FF had in it. Better drainage also with lava rock. I’m really excited to grow organic. I’m also excited to ramp up production. I have a lot of strains to try out
Thanks @Skydiver they have really taken off. GL is growing fast but still some leaf clawing issues. I need to get AR topped. She’s getting to tall
Boy those really took off. It must be the worms.
Thoughts: There’s a bit of N clawing but as she’ll grow outta that. There is a bit more stretching between nodes than I like but that’s me. I’d lower my lights. Keep them nodes tight from the start. My AR flowering stretch was 2.5-3x
Thanks @Budbrother I’ll lower them now. I definitely don’t want to out stretch the tent.
The other girls don’t seem to mind the nitrogen, so that’s a good thing
Lights are lowered I had turned the screw up a little yesterday. I’ll keep a better on the stretching. I went ahead and topped AR. Usually I have the veg girls under blurples until they’re ready to flower. These girls are spoiled. I guess those QBs scare me a little though
The third tent still isn’t up, I’m slacking
Topless AR
Close up of ugly GL
Here’s what the living soil photo girls look like today
Acid Rain in Gold Leaf we’re both topped and all 3 trained and pruned.
I’m hoping to flip to 12/12 in another 1.5 weeks.
I made the girls a tea yesterday Thanks @Budbrother for the help with that It brewed for about 28 hours with 2 small air pumps and 4 air lines and stones before the girls received it this morning.
My fruit strainer for jelly making sure comes in handy for all sorts of things. Its a tea strainer today.
My large air pump arrives today…as long as that frickin mail dude doesn’t mark “animal interference” on his computer as he drives right by while my dogs watch him thru the window from inside the house. He likes to do that anyway, I need to run to the hardware store and get the remaining plumbing for my microbulator and get it finished today.
@Skydiver I haven’t spotted any bugs but this guy will hopefully take care of any intruding bugs or existing bugs.
I found it living, and eating very well in my worm bin. I think he’ll like the living soil tent. I’ll throw some extra worms in the living soil occasionally for him.
Have a wonderful week everyone
Salamander nice!
I used to see them all the time when I was very young. Haven’t come across any in a very long time
Soil girls looking healthy. You gonna add more soil to that pot?
Thanks The soil in the pot will grow with top dressing, time and future grows. Those salemanders are best find this time of year, they’re slow still. I usually see them under rocks near creeks or damp woodlands. AKA my back yard
I think this little fellow came from the worms I ordered.
Thanks @Budbrother but, well you should know by now, I use what I already have on hand it worked well
it’s a pool skimmer netting thingy. I fired my pool last fall, to much work. I have a bunch of these
I’ve never strained paint…for future reference, am I supposed to strain paint ?
