Jacks 3 2 1 storage

My question is how long can you store Jacks once mixed? I wanted to make enough that would allow others to water on my behalf without the hassle of mixing it themselves.

You need to be aware that pH will drift over time (it only takes a day or 2 for pH to shift) if left to sit. The last time I had someone else tend to my grow for 10 days I went water only.

Thanks for letting me know, I didn’t think about the PH

I mix up a gallon jug of A at 4x strength, a gallon of B at 4x strenght, and a gallon of epsom at 4x strenght. Let it sit in their respective containers for the night.
Next day give them a shake, and dump the ‘A gallon’ the ‘epsom gallon’ and the ‘B gallon’ and 1 gallon of plain water (or 2 gallons to adjust ec if needed) into a 5 gallon bucket, ph that bad boy and boom you have yourself 4 (or 5) gallons.
You can make up a few sets depending how quick you go through it. That way when it’s time to make more nutes you don’t have to weight it out or wait for it to dissolve. Just grab and dump.

You can leave it for a few days. Monitor the pH. A cheap wavemaker will help to maintain pH, but will still drift upwards. I’ve honestly left a half gallon of jacks sitting for over a month and the pH was still at 6.75. Didn’t use it. But pH held.

I use Jacks 321 in a reservoir with a wave maker where I keep no more than 15G of feed. I ph the feed to the lower end of the spectrum. I add new feed to the old feed and have some drift but not enough in my scenario to be concerned with yet.
