Issues with Abby Grow Box-Hey Automated Grow Box 420 Edition

From a fellow grower: I am brand new and have germinated my first seed(photoperiod). I am week 2 day 3 and my plant is due to transplant tonight. Last water change was 12:43 am this morning and the seed looks to have not changed at all since I began the water process. it just has the tail on it and no leaves or roots. Instruction do indicate to use tap water and I used distilled water at each change and followed the hey abby app. Please help not sure what to do now.

Week 2 day 4 and it looks like this (See Attached).

I have changed water at specified buy the app and it just doesn’t look like it’s growing.

That rooter plug Looks overly wet Growmie and may have dampened off. Seedlings require very little water with a high RH the 1st 2 weeks. :love_you_gesture:

Here’s some things I recommend for seedlings as they are such delicate plants and the slightest thing can take them overnight.
Damping-off is a common plant disease that can affect newly sprouted seeds, seedlings, and cuttings. It can be caused by several types of fungi, namely Pythium, Botrytis, and Fusarium. Pythium is most common 1. Here are some tips to prevent damping-off:

  1. Sterilize your growing medium: Use a sterile soilless mix or sterilize your soil before planting 1.
  2. Avoid overwatering: Overwatering can lead to excessive moisture in the soil, which can encourage fungal growth. Water your plants only when the top inch of soil is dry 1.
  3. Ensure proper drainage: Make sure your pots have adequate drainage holes to prevent water from accumulating in the soil 1.
  4. Use a fan: A gentle breeze can help promote air circulation and reduce humidity levels, which can help prevent fungal growth 1.
  5. Use a fungicide: If you have a history of damping-off in your garden, consider using a fungicide to protect your plants 1.

I hope these tips help you prevent damping-off in your cannabis seedlings.
