First grow ever here and she’s doing quite well I think. Did some lst to spread her out a bit after topping 5th node. Just short of one month now and growing great. Are these pistols that signify start of flowering phase. Have not done any nutes because I’m in ffof. Have some grow micro bloom waiting in the wings but not sure when to start them.
Calyxes at the nodes with pistils only mean that a plant is sexually matured. The indication that you will get when the plant is flowering is pistils at the tips of the plant. Your pic is too zoomed in and I cannot determine the source of the pistils.
Begin feeding when your runoff PPM is < 1,000.
Micro bloom alone is not sufficient. You’ll need a suite of nutrient products containing nitrogen, potassium, phosphorous, and micronutrients such as iron, boron, and manganese. Jacks 321 is an inexpensive and effective product that doesn’t come with some of the problems other products present.
Assuming pistils on calyxes at the nodes. If your plant is an auto, then it should flower with in week or so. If it is a photoperiod plant, then the plant will flower when the light schedule is reduced to 12/12.
The tip of the last pic leads me to believe that she is starting to flower. You’ll know for sure in a day or 2. Growth at this stage will be very rapid. Be sure to use products including nitrogen at this point. It is nitrogen that powers that growth.
It’s important to begin feeding potassium and phosphorous at this point. These are the elements that power healthy flowering.
Thanks so much for your observations and recomendations. This is so much fun to hopefully bring her to a fruitfull and tasty product.
Zooming in on these you are definitely between pre flower and flower, a week should leave no doubt about them flowering.
Thanks Doc
I thank you for this share.
Confirms my recent flowering developed issues.
Flowering depletes the soil rapidly, of the good grow support.
My Autos look N-deficient while the photos, are unphased.
Autos in flower heavily (packing and stacking).
Photos still veging.
