This is sativa strain 5 weeks into veg. I water every 2-3 days or until pot feels light. pH is around 6.4, medium is FFOF, only feeding it water until ppm drops below 1000, currently around 1300-1400. Temps between 72-76F, RH around 50-55%, PPFD around 500-600. Light distance is 18", using a 3 gallon pot
FF is a hot soil nutrients are not needed for the first 4-5 weeks. How long have you been giving nutes? That maybe the problem
I also think the pot should be 5 gallons or bigger. Some use smaller pots.
I haven’t been giving any nutes due to FFOF being a hot medium. Juse feeding it water at the moment
I’ve used 3 gallon pots before with photos and didn’t have this issue, I guess I can try moving it into a 5 gallon one.
Are you asking about the leaves being a bit wrinkled?
You didn’t say what your concern was.
If so just get the humidity up a little bit. In veg 50% is a little low, not terrible tho.
If you get it up 65% or even a little higher the plant will like it. Once your a few weeks into flowering you will want it back down to 50%. Otherwise it looks pretty good to me.
@Cannabispinoy
Going by the picture your plant looks good to me but I’m no expert.
Happy growing ![]()
My concern was the leaves drooping. I brought down the humidity a bit thinking that was the issue but I’ll bring it back to you 65 where it was before, thanks!
This can be temperature, just after being watered, or picture was taken right before lights out.
Leaves will droop towards the end of the light cycle, and other times mentioned.
I try not to get concerned with droopy leaves if I know she has everything she needs dialed in.
Be sure to check the plant at different times of the day if possible, to know the different stages throughout the day.
Different plant, different characteristics and growing behavior.
That’s growing. Some plants don’t like the same treatment as the rest of the plants, despite being in the same environment.
I use 3 gallon pots all the time. Personally what I would do wait until your pot feels like a loaf of bread then give it a 6.5 water only feed (no nutrients) to about 20% - 25% runoff (yes that much runoff)
Then let it dry to a weight of loaf of bread then go back to your normal feeding.
This is what I would do
My plants often get "droopy at the endo of the day.
Water by weight, advised.
Else, looking good
Hi @Lostgirl
Well, I have 5 finger leaves but look at her. Why the droopy leaves? I took the clear gallon water container domes I made off of them. I’m in NY and the temperature did drop last night yet it didn’t get below 72 in my home. I haven’t really watered that much while they have been under their domes. I have the space heater running again, stopped the humidifier and am hoping for the best. I did give them both 150cc’s of water because the soil was on the dry side.
SOS! I don’t want to lose these girls.
Thanks in advance!
Amy
@SirBuddy
Copy and paste this in your original thread that you started. This is kind of hijacking @Cannabispinoy thread
My apologies. I will do my best to copy and paste. Thank you .
Hopefully things are improving, just by looking I’d say too much water for sure, I never use domes anymore, too many soaked sprouts and then you have to wean them off like you know what.
