Hi! I am a total newbie to posting on forums and this is only my third indoor grow and only my third autoflower grow but I keep running into the same problems! I think this is a potassium deficiency but I really don’t know for sure and considering my first two grows were not great, I am worried the same is happening to this one!
This is the start of week 8 and I am feeding [Biobizz grow, bloom, Algamic and [calmag] (as I am using very soft rain water). Growing in [Biobizz] light mix. Pineapple Express auto (fastbuds) 185w telos mesh led in 1 x 0.5 x 1.8 tent.
Temps approx 23-25 during day and 19-21 at night. Humidity fluctuates but is between 50 -60.
This grow is definitely going better than the first two as I have introduced [calmag] after they had huge [calmag] deficiencies but now something else is happening & I don’t know if it’s just a deficiency or lockout maybe?
I do think these plants are the smallest I have grown so far, for some reason & I don’t know why they haven’t stretched more in the last couple of weeks! The bottom leaves started to get interveinal chlorosis about a week or so ago, and I think some of the middle leaves too. Some at the bottom are turning very rapidly! I do think it’s a potassium def but I have looked at so many different pictures of deficiencies online that it’s now making my head spin as they all look so similar to each other!
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Hi, thanks for replying! Ah ok, I did think that but then I thought maybe it’s too early for that to be happening?! Also, they seem to be yellowing at quite an alarming rate Do you think they also look behind for week 8? Thanks for your help
Thank you so much for your help! I’ve been panicking for the last week, wondering what I keep doing wrong! they seem quite small still though maybe for the beginning of week 8?
It looks great for 8 weeks. I don’t see anything “wrong.” It’s actually a good size for an auto. Autos can produce runts at times. Yours isn’t one of them.
I second @MidwestGuy. I almost always keep an auto or 2 growing at all times and yours look really good. I’ve had some real shorties and a couple nice big producers. Adding the ruderalis or “autoflower” genetics into the mix can, sometimes, really hinder the dominant, strain specific, genetics. But again, yours look nice.
Here is a goofy auto that has been flowering around 23 days. I have found autos to be difficult to grow, and I always get strange leaves, and colors no matter what I do. All you can do is try to keep everything right, and hope for the best.
@Dexterado. I agree, there always seems to be something strange going on with my autos too! mine has been in flower almost the same amount of time as yours but I feel your plants look much healthier and somewhat more advanced than mine? also, I noticed that none of yours have the yellowing leaves at the bottom like mine? Do you also grow in organic?
I actually do grow organically. I have great results that way with my photos. I just had one auto seed left so I started it. I have a godfather OG photo going too. It’s very healthy.
