The colas are very small on this plant but lots of them.
Its into its 5th week im guessing of the flowering stage.
Im hoping now that ive brought it in under cover still with warm sun light and fresh air and all the yellowing leaves off and the armpit fluff gone it should boost the colas a bit more.
This is probably my worst plant this growing season.
@kettle
sounds like a plan to me buddy… good looking plant… are you planning on putting lights on it?
Hi kettle i dont have a light set up. Im off the grid.
With a solar set up that just barely runs the house lights and radio.
Id love to learn more about growing under lights.
Especially led lights.
Ive heard they have gotten a lot better in resent times.
Cheers
I’ve got no grow at the moment . And no , I’ve never tried something like pollinating, or cross pollinating . That’s for clever people . My smarts only afford me to get stuff ( coffee , new pen ) or to clean up after the clever people . Lol
Funny. I experimented with pollenating a cola on each plant and it seems to have worked.
Yay.
Dont know what i dont know til i give it a go.
When doing that , did you use different pollin from different strains ?
Hi kan72.
I like starting like that.
Reminds me of get smart and 99.
For some reason.
I have 5 female photo plants in total growing at the moment. 3 from my mate that you seen the photos of.
1 from a green fairy that i saw interviewed on Patrick gower docco called weed.
At the time i had concussion and thought cbd oil could help my symptoms.
She had a recipe book for sale and with it came 4 seeds.
Well 2 germinated 1x male 1x female.
The other is a gorilla glue from ILGM.
The pollen i used to impregnate one cola on each 5 plants was from the green fairy male plant.
Its sativa ive been told thats all i know of its stain.
The female colas of that plant are really sticky right now.
actually it was the leaves that are really sticky.
Guessing the colas are too.
So that female been pollinated by its own strain.
Just dont know what it is. Bugger.
The pollenating worked well.
Learnt the process off some one on here cant remember who maybe @AAA
Some one awesome anyway thanks.
So ill have a gorrilla glue cola crossed with something sativa. Who knows what it will produce.
Cant be too bad nothing worse than the unknown seeds that go round here usually.
And i made it happen thats cool.
Watch this space.
Cheers
Blackmoon out
plants are looking great man. yeah if u are off grid its going to be a larger investment… one day… and yeah bud just cross whatever u want, great fun…
Those are some nice looking plants there @Blackmoon
Hi thanks.
It would seem only the bud photos have uploaded as i took a full plant shot too.
Sadly dont know the stain this plant is.
It cant be far off ready to get the chop the evening air was filled with a lovely aroma.
Ive all new to this growing game and have learnt a lot being on here.
Ive grown plants before but its just been gorrilla style in comparison.
To this seasons grow.
Im still keen to know what to do in regards to the seeded flowers on the same plant.
As they are not as mature as the unseeded flowers.
Im guessing just cut everything else off leave the seeds to mature more.
Anyone reading this please respond.
Cheers
@Kan72 @kettle @AAA
Hey @Blackmoon if it was me . When it comes time to chop down . I’d cut down the whole plant and try to separate the seeded flower from the unseeded flowers . But that’s me . All is looking great .
These photos are of 2 colas on the same unknown bush.
Seem like there a lot of head leaf on them compared to some of my other plants but she ready for the chop. Trichomes are smokey now.
Up loaded some photos and @ everyone ive been @ing about this topic too.
I recon they ready time for the chop.
Time for drying and curing woo hoo.
Just an update on my experiment pollenating just one cola of the plant.
Opps under the watch full eye of my macro lens i see a few other little seed like covers scattered about the plants. Some pollen must have drifted across.
No great harm.
Few extra seeds no harm.
Mostly worked out. A little refining next grow.
Hi kettle
Blackmoon here.
How are you.
Im attempting to remember if you said you did out door grows and if so when did you start germinating your seeds for the up and coming season.
Attempting to get a gauge on the time if there is one to start germinating my seeds.
My pollenating went really well.
Got a few hundred seeds off the cola i pollinated with her counter male donor.
Same strain.
Just dont know what it is.
Also still after 9 weeks my gorrilla glue i did the same thing with is starting to mature her seeds.
So be interesting to see what the off spring of her will be like next grow season.
I call the unknown strain rose and she was my nicest plant and fattest buds.
So pure genetics same male and female plant with no name lots seeds.
And a new cross pollination with my gorrilla glue stain.
Very happy
See what the out come is next autumn.
Had some gorrilla last night been curing for a while.
Very very nice
Strong
2 puffs and it just kept on giving and laugh
Couldn’t stop and i wasn’t laughing at anything
Woo hoo

hey bud, remember im in OZ…
if I had my way in an ideal world if I was growing outside… with no risk from neighbours or kids or cops or cows or bikies or… etc… the longer the plants are outside the higher the risk… but…
I would germinate just after the last frost, (or before depending on how giant you want them to get)…inside under lights… until they were through the seedling stage, then get them outside in giant pots or in the ground… in full sun… and I would use this soil recipe… Garrigan"s soil recipe - #7 by garrigan62
remember this would mean they are outside in the ground or big pots from sept-oct to April-may… this may not be the way others do it or may not even be the right way… its what I would do… but i would be aiming for mega yield… I used to add a lot of different teas, too… it was a while ago I grew outside though…
good luck with what you decide…
I figured your outdoor season is about over as ours is just starting.
Thanks kettle. Yer i remembered that info.
Been doing some calculating im thinking about 15th September.
If started earlier under lights what light dark ratio would you use. Thanks for the soil recipe.
Take care
Hi dbrn32 thanks for checking in.
Yep season’s closing down here for outdoor grows for sure.
If you were to grow outdoors when would you germinate your seeds.
Cheers
I just planted my outdoor garden today. If I had room inside to start and planned on growing weed outside I I probably would have dropped them a few weeks ago.
