Is my plant viable?

I began my grow indoors in February of this year. OG Kush and Gold Leaf. Grow tent with ventilation, temp controlled, auto water and correct lighting.
For a reason I have yet to figure out ALL of my plants stalled in sprout stage. They just stopped growing all together but I stood the course and kept nutrients and water as scheduled. Once temp steadied in April I transplanted them outdoors I a last ditch effort to see if they were truly dead.
Mid to late May one of my Auto OG Kush plants took off ands is now 6’ tall and about as wide. It is now August and not visible signs of flowering at all so I’m worried. Can I please get some advice. Can a known feminized auto flower stress change to a male or to a condition where it won’t bud? Thanks in advance.

Autoflowers will begin flower when they are ready, but some have been known to get a little finicky here and there. There have been some with a weaker ruderalis gene that sort of needed to be tricked to start flowering.

Also, a plant can absolutely stress herm. A simple transplant usually won’t do it. Mostly improper lighting and lighting schedules are/is the culprit. Sometimes rough handling, but that is usually from high stress training where the plant is purposefully cut, twisted and pulled, even broken in places. During veg, it really isn’t an issue, though.

You have pistils forming, so if it is an autoflower, an absolute beast autoflower lol, you are most likely getting ready to flower in the next couple weeks.

It could be a photoperiod plant, which would explain the long growth period and late flowering.

Generally if the plant stresses in the first few weeks of life it doesn’t affect the plant’s sex or flowering stage. If the stress occurs when it’s flowering or about to start flowering, then it can become a hermaphrodite.
