I have been growing ILGM Skywalker OG for a few years now.
It’s listed flowering is 9-10 weeks (which i would say is about accurate)
My current run was flipped to flower on Feb 1st. As of this post March 4th
I see mostly cloudy trichomes with a few amber and very few clear.
The question: Is it possible for this plant to be ready for harvest in such a short time?
Could it be the phenotype? Has anyone heard of such a short period for trichome change?
Are you looking at trichomes on the sugar leaves or the flower calyxes? Those on sugar leaves will darken more quickly than those on flower.
Yeah well i guess sugar leaves. Its hard to keep steady for the calyxes but i will try and get some good photos
Looks awesome frosty. Still seeing white hairs, appears to have some time left to go. It is hard too hold steady when trying to look at Trichomes. Do you have a microscope? There are several out there like this one.
You can get a microphone stand and put this one on the stand and use the app on your phone or iPad to get great steady pictures
Thank you for the info guys! Keep them frosty!
Too many white hairs still
When they are talking about flowering time they’re talking about how long it flowers for thats 9 to 10 weeks of flowering you have a ways to go still buy looking at your plant. That being said never go by what the seed store says the plant will be done when its done. You want nearly all those white hairs to turn brown and recede back into the calyx’s then start checking trichomes for cloudy to amber.
Do you have pictures of the whole plant and some bud pictures from a little farther away
