What do you guys use for grasshoppers? Last year my first grow was outdoors and towards the end during flowering I started having problems with leaf miners and was told to use Neems oil which worked out great but then I had a couple instances where I found a lone grasshopper on my girl. 
Thankfully I was harvesting two days later so I just killed the grasshoppers by hand but this year I want to make sure I’m prepared if they show up earlier during the grow. I don’t think Neems oil works very well for grasshoppers cuz like I said I was already spraying the plant fo take care of leaf miners and still found grasshoppers on the plant. TIA
Food Grade diatomaceous Earth might work. Apply it with a simple garden pump sprayer 1-2 liter size.
Make sure not to buy pool filter grade; It can be toxic and is not a good idea to have around your grow or your family.

I had a bit of a problem with grasshoppers before. And I dont have pesticides available but i dont like to use those anyway. They are about 2 or 3 inches in size, I have 7inch long siccors and if I very slowly creep up behind the hopper, it does not see it. And between the head and the back is a weak point because their armour is tough. Well, get your siccors there then you can cut its head clean off and sometimes see it body try fly away…Plus i did not damage the plants and i did try to warn them or scare them away before lethal force was applied when entering the garden.
Of course this is time consuming but after say 1 week and decapitating 50 or 60 hoppers and the problem was solved and they haven’t come back yet. This was around 3 months ago.
