Indoor Grow… First timer

I’m a first time indoor grower. I have 4 autos and 4 Fems. I wanted to show my set up. I have another oscillating fan on the way. Is there any recommendations or guidance? I love cannabis and growing my own. So hopefully I’ll get better with time…get more “technical”.

What size is your tent and what lights are you using? Great exhust system BTW.

Plants look good from what I can tell from the blurple light. Those lights may be ok, but I’m betting you’ll want to upgrade them to something like an hlg product. Looks like a 2x4 tent maybe?, so something in the 300+ true watt range. I’m betting your lights don’t pull a true 600 watts. You’re shooting for between 40 and 50 true watts per square foot.

No. 2 lights my brother had from Amazon I believe. They have a veg and a bloom switch. I want to get AC Infinity lights. But not sure if I can switch in the middle of a grow

Thank you. It’s a 4x4x6 tent. I want to upgrade the lights. But I wasn’t sure if I can switch in the middle of a grow

Your plants look great, but chances are those lights are only 100w. Amazon lights use cheap marketing gimicks like “equal to”, but they are far from it. I highly recommend either 2 with 250-300 true watt fixtures, or 1 450w fixture. Mars Hydro and Spider Farmer have some good budget lights. HLG and AC Infinity are a little more costly but definitely worth the money.

You can switch lights mid grow, just set them on low intensity to see how your girls like it, and adjust a little bit every (other) day.

Good luck and happy growing!

I run a spider farmer SE7000 in my 4X4, and that is admittedly overkill.

The SE5000 is perfect for a 4X4 and reasonably priced with good samsung diodes and a good driver.

Thank you so much! I will definitely look into that. Spider Farm is a great brand…so I hear. Appreciate the tip

This “meter” will not help you. It won’t give you any useful information at all, they are cheaply made and highly inaccurate. Like, they don’t really even get you in the ballpark.

Spider farmer fs4000 has been working great for me. Good diodes. Good even spread Adds about 5 degrees of room temp.

Running strong towards end of first grow.

Room and plants look great. Keep up the good work.

Get the lights or you will not be satisfied with your crop.

Just a beginners input😎

Thank you for your advice. I went ahead and purchased the AC Infinity IONBOARD S44 since I have the exhaust and fan…I can run them all in the controller system (once I figure out how to work it). Thanks again

Then what should I use lol!

@Mosquitohawk hasn’t been around in a few months. Apera and Bluelab both make good meters.
