Welcome to the forum.

I’ve changed the title of your thread to take your email address out. Please read the forum rules.

A 2x2x4 is a very short place for a cannabis plant. You won’t have room for a ventilation system. I suggest flowering your plant early and learning about techniques such as topping, FIMing, and supercropping to manage a plant’s height.

Agree with @MidwestGuy 4 feet is not much head space if it’s possible to get a taller tent do it your life will be simpler

Welcome to ya there @randy6 , I’m wondering why 2-2x2x4s? Are you figuring one for veg and one for flower?

I agree with everyone on the tent size.

Regarding your ducting question, if you’re planning for them to split a 6”, theres a couple ways to do it.

If the tents are side by side and the duct ports line up, you could just take some extra duct and join them together, and then pull air from just the one tent.

If you plan to split, get a good “pants shaped” wye, and step down to 4” duct. 6” on the one side and 2 4s on the other.

I have a 3x3 and a 2x2. You can exhaust a 2x2, but you need a 4 inch system, not 6. My 6 inch fan inflates my 3x3 on the lowest setting.

This is my exhaust/filter, outside the tent. I don’t think there’s another way, I tried a few things.

Yes, @randy6, @Fiz makes sense. I do think 4” would be enough vent size for a 2x2. I have 4” venting a 20x36”x72” into our chicken coop. They love the warmth! It works fine even with an inexpensive inline vent fan. You can’t smell the tent unless the flap is left open.

This my tent size but not quite that tall. I use 6", have 4" here but when connected to 4" filter it pulled airflow down way too much. Without filter would probably fine.

@6stringT what area of country are you in to put tent in coop? I have a barn. Coop to small >30 chickens. I’m in south and it gets hot & humid from first of May-end of Oct. we may get 2wks total of close to the freeze point lol. Just wondered if it gets hot/humid where you are & how you deal w it in coop. Would be awesome to keep tent in barn all year!!! Then I could get a bigger tent!

I didn’t say the tent was in the coop. The vent runs through the wall of my (heated) grow room area, out into the coop near the roost so they(14) get some heat when it’s well below freezing at night. It works, and it mixes with the wonderful aroma of the, wood shavings covered poop pile. A match made in… chicken heaven. We’re @25 miles north of the Mohawk valley. Summer time, different story, RH 90%+, need extra venting then. The RH just started to take its annual nose dive from@60% now down to @20-30%. When it goes down to -10-20’F the RH drops even lower…BTW were did @randy6 go?

@6stringT Sorry for my misunderstanding. I’m sure your chickens love you for the heat! Is your tent outside? If so, both summer & winter?

@dbrn32, sorry it is 62” not 72” in height, ACInfinity Cloud-lab 632. I just have it setting on a 7” platform to save my back a bit.

I have 4 boxes of stuff from ac infinity that i bought for random projects and haven’t even opened. I bought cloudline t4 and t6 before the5 were even really a thing for horticulture. I somehow lost the controllers in a move and when i tried to purchase new was given wrong parts twice and ultimately told they no longer dold the controllers i needed. For my troubles they kicked me out a pretty good credit and discount code, and i made full use of both. I don’t even remember what i bought half of it for.

Ah, the best sign of a successful grow!

Haha. Same, same. I’ve converted an unused BR to a “storage” area. It has a bunch of AC Infinity fans and whatnot in it. A few lights, a couple of smaller tents (disassembled,) and other stuff.

Apologies again! I think one should only write things when one’s brain isn’t completely fried
