A new and exciting study on different terpenes and their effects on fibromyalgia and post surgical pain. Not chronic pain, though I’m sure that isn’t too far down the line.

I was reading about this last night, wife has fibromyalgia and I’ve been studying strains to help her. High CBD strains seem to do well, it’s just hard for me to grow something that’s 5%, just don’t feel right, but I want to get her some relief though. My acupuncturist told me that she thought cannabis derivatives could probably replace 90% of pharmaceutical products, which is exactly why the big Pharma do not want it legalized.

I’ve read about the different terpenes when I order seeds, but that’s about it. Each strain ILGM sells lists what they’re highest in, I think. Maybe you could grow those strains and then make her gummys from some and you might like the strains yourself too.

That’s what I was thinking, if it helps her, I’ll throw a tent full in for her, she don’t smoke either, so oil for gummies makes sense. Your right, much of what I’ve studied centers around the terpenes and what each one treats.

I want to do a tent run of CBD Cream & Cheese
I have 4 seeds, so once I finish a few runs of the Vietnamese Black this will be the next strain I try! Drop 2 and then clone them as they need trimming. It’s high in both THC and CBD, perfect for me!

I just saw that, 22% THC and 18% CBD should be some powerful medicine! Definitely gonna do her a run, may have to check into those seeds. Thanks!

Totally agree with you! That sounds like a win-win. Thanks @Spudgunner for posting that. If i can’t find that one I’m going to look for another high THC and CBD strain. I don’t fear or mind a bit of THC intoxication to go with my pain relief!

Not surprising, I’ve found nothing better than weed to take the edge off of my osteoarthritis pain. I do prefer a high THC content, but that’s probably the old hippie in me talking.

I have an old broken vertebrae that bugs me a lot. Cannabis hands down better than anything else I have ever tried. It doesn’t make the pain go away all the way; but it makes your head ok with it. Like it’s not all you sit around thinking about and you feel normal. Opiates make you numb and feel not yourself. And old ibuprofen is bad for your liver long term. I know several retired people whom can no longer take it due to liver function problems from taking ibuprofen their whole lives like candy.
Cannabis is my medicine till the day I die.
