What are your watering practices?
Well now I’m wartering about every other day And I water it until I get a decent runoff flow from the bottom And I usually check the pot with my finger to see how dry the top is and then I have this other thing that I can stick in the dirt and tells me the moisture level

Hey I was wondering if it’s okay to prune some of the fan leaves at this point so it got better air flow and more light towards the middle of the plant

Hey man, well I don’t do any removal until the 2nd week of flower, I tuck them to let the lower branches grow past them, sometimes thru them. Maybe a couple of the ones touching the soil. I am a firm believer in leaving all the leafs as possible, happy bushes have lots of flowers 
there are people who may advise to pluck them, but not me. As for light getting in your plants will be sending out branches and them grow past the big fan leafs finding light they need. And I keep fans blowing on girls and they get all the air flow needed. But I do defoliate in flower where you have buds, need good air flow then, but I still have lots of leafs. This is a plant I harvested recently, she doesn’t even look ready to harvest, still green and healthy.
But thats me if you surf around I don’t always do what others do. I kinda break a lot of rules lol. But that is me. 5 years doing the same thing
a little tweak here and there.

I see what you mean and I guess you’re right to do it now in vegetation it wouldn’t really be smart as its leaves give the plant all the energy they need to grow I guess I’ll wait until flowering to pluck any if they’re in the way thank you again for all your advice… And while that looks good I got a while to go into harvest but I can’t wait

Hey man how you doing I just wore to my plants today and the runoff are olum’s around 670 And I water just with distilled water no fertilizer today what do you think I should do for my next watering should I add more fertilizer? I’ve been going by what you said

Hey brother all is well here, just another day man. I would just increase how much food you add to the next watering, 670 is not bad for veg but can be bumped up some, girls look awesome. Don’t trip your girls are looking great.

Hey man another newbie question lol The pH of the water I’m using with nutrients is 5.8 I heard it has to be between 6.3 and 6.8 this is true? And if so I have pH booster if I do need to increase. I like always thanks for any advice

Hey man hope you are having a good day. I’m going to say that they say ph in soil should go in at 6.5, that being said, if your soil is alkaline or acidic your 6.5 is affected. My soil changes ph through out the grow, I measure the ph out and adjust my ph in. With my miracle grow potting mix( which has no ph buffers ) I know that I can put in ph 8 water from the tap and my ph out will be close to 6.5… later in the grow my soil raise the alkaline so I raise acidic by dropping ph in to 7 to get 6.7 out etc hope this helps man

Hey man hope all is well with you and your babies lol I’m on 42 days I’m debating if I should switch to flowering but two of my plants that branches really didn’t grow yet like the one how long do you usually wait and I know they say they can grow to double the size in flowering is that true? And they are in 3 gallon pots and I’m ordering every other day but it’s getting really dry in between do you think I should order every day or something like today when I went to water they were all bone dry and I soaked them the day before

And one other thing how are they looking And do you think the one is a different strain from the other two because it looks completely different They are all from the same batch

Hey man first off with most strains they have been crossed with others so none of your kids will look the same. And yes if your girls are consuming enough to be watering every day, I use 3 gal plastic pots and my girls drink them dry in a day at times. I lift the pot every day and water when they say. Your girls look awesome man nice and green and bushy, doing a great job and yes DOUBLE in hight during flower! I flip when tallest girl is at 18 inches because I can only allow the plant to end up 36 inches. I had one plant more than doubled and ended up 44 inches and I had to rearrange my light hangers as I ran out of room! Hope you are having a good day over there, all good here. Hope this helps

Hey do you know what’s going on I don’t think it’s light burn because these leaves are all lower and it seems to be happening all around only one plant would you know kind of getting worried cuz the more and more seem to be turning like this

Lower leafs are first to show signs of stress, such as being too dry before watering, as long as it is the lowest leafs yellowing not a big deal, but if it starts on new growth thats a worry. The first picture of the leaf that is tacoing with the brown edges is showing signs of something, see how on just that one leaf the edges are curling inward, its different than your normal leafs, tacoing could be a VPD problem, too low or high humidity, some kind of stress, could be light if you are too close and its a top leafs. This chart is helpful. Are there more curly leafs or brown spots?
The brown spots and edges are starting of a ph problems / a cal mag problem or too much nitrogen. None of these problems are plant killers so don’t get worried to much, first are you using a cal mag additive? Do you know your ppm and ph out? And what kind of light do you have? I know you are in happy frog soil, and we talked fox farm nutes, have you started them? Sorry I am going to be busy this afternoon but will get back to you when I can. They are a few more leaves like that on a lower part of the plant and it’s the only one like that out of the 3. it’s the biggest plant too. I’m not using a cal- mag I do have it I was thinking about using it. And the ppm out was 553 I forgot to check the pH. And as for lights I got a lot of different kinds I got some of those burples LEDs I got some of those HPS LEDs also have another LED that has a lot of red in it it’s full spectrum but it’s mostly red. Also got a spider farmer LED strip light the DLI right above that plant is 51.2. And by all means take your time do what you have to do I appreciate the help and have a good day

Hey man yeah temps are kinda high 85* with a 32% humidity while your pots are dry could cause the curl, a little in the red while the lights are on. Do you always water all 3 at same time? You can even out your humidity some by stagering your plants days, so you always have a wet pot. But they will survive lol my daughters plants are tacoing but we are in the desert 100* and 30% humidity
Spots could be cal mag, I would add on just water days, I think with ff trio you feed water feed, it may be what she wants to keep future spots. Whats happened in past is what you are seeing now and it may seem to progress but is what it is already, next time you water check out you ph out, it could be that also, but these are all things you can adjust as you go, to ward off future problems. And I assumed you didn’t have a monster 600w led scorching your girls, so what you got probably not cause, weed is very light hungry, heat from all those lights could be a problem tho, but not awful. Thanks again for all the good advice I think I figured out what my dumbass did wrong I wasn’t adjusting the pH in the water with the fertilizer It was at like 4.8 I had a brain fart and was only adjusting it when I did regular wTering but I fed him today and I adjusted it too 6.5 They were all droopy and now they’re standing proud and looking good I trimmed a lot of yellow leaves off but I am going to switch it to 12 and 12 today for flowering I know you’re supposed to trim it to get the light in do I only trim the fan leaves and do I take off all the fan leaves or am I supposed to take off the sugar leaves and the families are in the way from where the buds supposed to grow an in the picture is that the place where the bud starts growing that supposed to get light?
