I'm using three LED lights right now just ordered HLG 100 RSpec 4000k

Well I have heard that burples during flower help thc production, but I don’t know for sure. I don’t do anything extra, I do make sure that my weed is ready for harvest, I don’t harvest early, worst mistake a lot of people do.

I’m sorry to keep bugging you but I’m about to start giving my plants fertilizer soon I got the Fox farm three pack since my plants are about 4 weeks old do I start at the 4-week mark on the feeding schedule or should I start at the first week I really don’t understand lol And if You have a schedule an amount I should mix that you recommend that would be awesome!! And one other thing should I get that sludge hammer that they sell to to flush it out between like when the schedule said?

I just watered like an hour ago and the water that came out was still 1600 so I’m guessing maybe next week I’ll start fertilizing

Glad you checked your run off numbers as those are about right for happy frog soil. It’s good for a few weeks, I know a little about fox farm trio, big bloom and grow big are for veg and tiger bloom is your flowering nutes. I am told it is hot and should be cut at least 1/2 strength to begin with, like two teaspoon big bloom and one teaspoon grow big per gallon of water, for a couple waterings, then 3 bb, 2 gb per gal. Feed then straight /cal mag water then feed etc. Checking run off with each watering so you know where you are at. And adjust where needed. Then start tiger bloom when you get first pistols again 1/2 strength 1 tablespoon to mixture for a couple waterings then up to 2 after. This is a salt based nutrient and as you start adding a lot you are supposed to flush out the built up salts with straight water or with sledgehammer, no experience with that, but water works so?
You are supposed to flush every few weeks to keep salts down, if left alone you tend to fight ph issues and nute lock out. But I had a buddy who never flushed, maybe had leaf issues but finished with nice bud. A lot of people swear by it others don’t like it and moved to jacks 321. Anyway that is all I know about ff stuff, hope it helps. Keep an eye on your run off numbers

This is a fair outline but I tend to feed on the heavy side, I read my plants, if I get burnt tips on leafs I back off. Hope you are having a good day over yander, doing good here

@Taz92590 Man your girls are looking awesome, nice thick and bushy, keep up the good work. I noticed you never said what your seeds were? Autos, photos, or bag seeds? Wondering if male? They look female, but I don’t know why you should think that they could be male? But from what I see you are doing great man, very dark green and healthy

They are feminized seeds but I was reading there’s a 1% chance that it can turn out to be a male I know I’m probably just stressing for no reason it’s just I’d usually always have bad luck lol but thanks for the encouragement I’m happy they’re looking good My girl says I spend too much time with them and she’s mad that I named them lol their name is Mary Jessica and Jane And my next growth I was thinking about you using those fabric pots do you have any experience with those?

I spend a lot of time sitting with my girls too, mine are named just part of the strains, lemon is Early lemon berry, Cherry is Cherry gar see ya etc. But they are all different and amazing. I have to keep my grow on the down low, so I only use what my neighbors wouldn’t question, so I am stuck with plastic 3 gal pots, would try cloth if I could. And you should be good with females, I have only heard of male once or twice in more than 2 years here, so it happens but not likely :+1: Have had hermies where I had male flowers on girls lol. Hey have you thought about topping or training? I only top and at 9 nodes or sets of leafs, and I flip when my plants are 1/2 the size I want them to end up. For me that 18" tall to end up with a 36 inch plant. I like to grow bushes, @9 nodes I have 18 branches full of bud lol…

Yeah you always got to watch how for nosy neighbors lol And when there is a male next to females that is bad right? And can you give me more details about training and nodes? I know you’re supposed to trim it to make it grow better I’m just not too sure what to do exactly I’m a little nervous taking a scissor to my babies lol I would appreciate it if I explain it to me better or if you know of any videos that do good job explaining for beginners like me because I saw some and I really still don’t get it I understand the concepts but not too sure where to trim

I know this is a stupid question do I feed every watering or just once a week or like every other watering what do you recommend

With fox farm nutes I believe they feed every other water, add cal mag on plain water days. Of course I recommend you water to run off as I do every time I water so I know if you need to feed. I will answer your last question too as far as topping and training, a lot fit into a simple answer. Will get back to you a little later, busy morning here. Holler at ya in a bit :+1:

Hey there, well each set of leafs after the little round one will develop a set of branches, each of these are nodes, you I assume are around 5 or so, I can’t tell from pictures. But for each of those big leafs you’ll have a branch full of bud sites. You know I don’t do any training other than topping. Here’s why, for my grow space I need to control hight, topping and when to 12/12… Growing a plant without any thing being done, should look like a Christmas tree, but if you cut the top, the plant quits putting energy into center upward growth, and sends a message to the side branches to take over for missing center. So the branches grow up to make a even canopy and now the plant looks more like a upside-down Christmas tree. So I wait until I have ten sets of leafs or nodes and using my finger nails to pinch out the 10th set before they open, leaving the 9th set on the stalk. That gives me 18 branches, and I can get a good bush with that. With 18 top buds I don’t get monster sized buds, medium sized but lots of them. People are on this forum that top at lower nodes only keeping 4 to 8 and building monsters, but it takes more veg time that I don’t want to take… This is how i feel, a person should just grow their first plants, leaving the training to when you know all that it takes to be successful at it. Just topping is not a big deal when you know where and when. The other big decision is when to go to 12/12, I have hight restrictions and have to build a plant that is no taller than 36 inches, so half of that is 18" and where I flip to 12/12 because they will possibly double in hight during flower. Not an exact but it gets me real close, this grow I got a 42 inch one and had to rearrange my lights hangers to accomplish this as I had no room. But you can just grow trees or turn them into bushes, whatever you are comfortable with, you are definitely off to a great start and I am sure you will do awesome. I sent you a tag tomy grow, hope you take a look man  hope that answers your question lol

Wow I appreciate all the information I have another question too lol can I reuse my runoff water

I only add enough extra to get a good test and I dump it, never gave it any thought, not too sure if it would hurt anything

Lol that’s what I was thinking And do you know what this is It started out as a few little dots and it seems to be spreading

Most of it looks like just leafs rubbing damage to the older leafs, some damage looks man made but again on oldest leaf, they show stress first. All your new growth looks great, very dark green and glossy so they are getting a good amount of nitrogen. Ppm is not crazy so you should be good. Keep an eye on it but I think your good man, and your welcome for the advice, glad to share what I know, I don’t advise if I haven’t got a bit of knowledge, and believe me it a lot, I am learning every day here. Holler at me anytime my friend

Looks the same to me. The leaves look like they’re over watered, too. Not sure if they were just watered before the pics which can cause that look. But looks like an overwatered plant.

They were watered about 10 minutes before that pic If anything I might be underwater in it lol and three gallon pots watering about every 3 days depending how dry it gets sometimes every 2 days
