Debriefing
Thanks everyone for coming by and spending your precious time.
As a grower, we are always learning. I made a lot of notes, and hope to use them for next season.
My prettiest plant-Strawberry Cheesecake. Great colors and tight nugs. My Strawberry Cough I thought underperformed. GJC was full of fall colors and good sized nugs. But the taste is what matters most. But no clones next year. I have enough seeds, anyways.
Powdery mildew, is like the old song, “good morning heartache.” I had the stony thought that maybe the aloe flakes kept the tops too moist. If I do use them next time,maybe just once a week.
My lineup for next year? Cream Caramel, Pineapple upside down cake, C99, some Thai Stick (I got from MSNL), Skywalker OG, Chocolope, and Blue Dream.
A little fuel, a little berry, some citrus, some earthy,maybe even spicy. Check.
But we know us stoners always change our mind about the garden in the off-season.
Either way, in the next few days I will plant cover crops to prepare for winter. I have some hairy vetch,red clover, and some peas and oats.

It’s been challenging growing but I’m eating like a horse:horse: and Sleeping like a Baby And have a few pickle jars full of Bud’s could have been better but half my tops burned up and PM reaked havoc on my Plant’s! I want to try my luck with some Sour Diesel and I have a few Santa Mariette Mexican Sativa seeds I’m waiting to try Thinking about ordering some OG Kush seeds they seem to be easy to grow here I been preparing my garden spot I have a bunch of wood ashes I’m going scatter around still no frost yet but close 39 These girls had a root and Stalk System not easily removed
Update DisclaimerTHE FOLLOWING REVIEW WAS DONE WITH A HABITUAL SMOKER. I may not have the most discerning pallette or olfactory bulbs-but let me give it a shot.
Today was the first test of the harvest. Purple Punch via pipe. I took about 4 hits-Flavors and smells are still faint. As I opened the Grove bag- Getting creamy,(80/20) and sweet. But the sweet hasnt developed yet.
I’m feeling it in my head mostly. Smoother than I thought it would be. As I write this, I feel the sensation behind my eyes. So far I am liking the smoke. I was worried about Lavender overcoming smells and taste-but so far ok.
A few minutes later, definitely feeling it in my head.
Maybe I should’ve cleaned my pipe first?
As more time passes-my mouth starts to water, and definitely a head high.
I usually harvest on the cloudy side of the spectrum. Seems like I got the desired effect. I did not know what to expect with any ‘Purple’ strain and didn’t know if this would be more sedative than functional, daytime smoke.
But since I smoke all day anyways-doesn’t that classify all my stash as daytime smoke?
Ok, time for one more hit-yeah, I think my pipe needs cleaning. And I had to change the wire mesh filter.
I would say its definitely an appetite stimulant.
I don’t feel lethargic. Just chill and mellow.
Gonna crush these frozen WHITE CASTLE sliders, with my candied bacon added to the mix.

Aw man, took too big of first toke on pipe. After the coughing fit, here I go.
Upon breakup of bud-nothing different or unique. Got the berry part-but the pie part must be on the exhale. A few more hits on the pipe. Yeah, I can’t call that taste on the exhale. Very subtle. Maybe in a few weeks I can describe it better. Seems like perfume based. Hmmm.
So far, another head high. I would say that because my cat started a conversation with me, and I found myself trying to give the cat a second to calm down and explain the story she was so passionate to tell.
Turns out she was just anxious to go outside.
It was like that moment in John Wick where Vigo merely responded with, “Oh.”
After the last hit,tasted way more floral than berry. Maybe this will be the one that smells/tastes like lavender. Dratz.
Oh well. I would say it is an appetite stimulant. Fast fading head effects that end up relaxed.
Would I get this clone again? Naw. But I am glad I didn’t buy a pack of these.
As I open the bag-a complex Pine dominant smell.
Upon 3 hits, Pine all day. This one is still a little harsh on the throat. I can feel the effects-cranium, eyes. Fast acting but not ridiculously speedy.
Bud structure is nice. Not the most dense nugs-but not larf either.
Gave a few minutes. I don’t get the caffeine reference-still calm and chill. Don’t feel like my head is spinning, or thoughts racing. Since I started writing this- the feeling got stronger. More pronounced cranial, more behind the eyes. But mellow. The tokes were harsh, so this goes to the back of the line.
I could be productive on this-I wouldn’t say it floors you-but at the same time I am not inspired to write or paint.
Upon first open. Got this crazy post-hay grass evolution smell. It will turn into something else soon. When I cracked open a bud, a sniff of skunk hit me. Oh my, the complexities in the smell are intriguing.
First couple of hits were smoother. This has a funky grass/skunk combo. Hmmm.
Feeling a combo of head and body.
Also listening to Insensatez has me real mellow. I equate this to floating in a pool, staring up into the sky.
This has my attention.
Its strong enough and unique flavor, for when you want to mix it up from your favorites. Like a palate-cleanse of sorts. Hmmm.
I guess this of reminiscent of what they eat in Nimbus. Go figure. I hope the weather is nice there… @AL_GREEN@Dforce@W.B.elpaso@Nip
Buds look very good! and yeah I sometimes run into some of the same as you do…Sometimes they look better than they taste or vice versa…But Ive been surprised @ time too!..Nimbus does look like one Id wanna try but no seeds for it …yet?
Ok. Very complex thing going on here. I have taken 4 hits, and can’t put my finger on what is the majority. There’s a weird floral bouquet followed with some sweetness. Some hits its berry. Some hits it is a fermented fruit of some kind. But the floral combination…wow. I’m stuck trying to figure it out. Like a wet pile of Rose petals.? Hmmm
Ok, feeling this in the throat and body. It’s very like the Popeyes chicken i just had may not be agreeing with me.
Ahhh, ok, took a sec to feel it in the eyelids.
All of a sudden Glam rock Big hair bands from the 80s wont get out of my mind. Whitesnake. Then it turned into Metal Health. Bang my head. Then I wanted to watch Old WWE videos of Iron Sheik and Rowdy Roddy Piper. I totally want to hit the weights in Pennsylvania, and then play Tom Cruises team from “All the right moves.” But then Linda Fiorentino walks in and makes me want to wrestle. I cut the mohawk, and before I can leave-I’m already walking across the football field on Saturday afternoon with my fist pointed towards the sky, while “Don’t you forget about me…” plays in my head.
Aw naw, I got a whiff of the fried chicken in the garbage. Totally killed my buzz.
Anyways-
There is a sweetness that lingers. Can’t put my finger on it.
Either way, I interrupted the cure. Probably in a few more weeks it will be…different.

Sorry. Started this morning with THE CHRONIC album and sampling this stuff.
The initial open of the bag was nice. That creamy funk combined with berry was good wake and bake . Now, coughing fits ensued-because of course it needs more time. But oh my…if the smell only gets richer and deeper.
If i ever have to pull a “Sophie’s Choice,” in the garden, she comes with daddy.
This is some creeper stash. I have the yummy taste on my lips, as the head and body feeling slowly appear. This is some david blaine bish. “Come here, just smoke…” and then BAM! Smooth and mellow. Chill.
I took roughly 5 hits. What felt like it was going to my body first, all of a sudden my eyelids were heavy. Right,not that feeling from the other strains. That was behind the eyes. This is like on top of the eyes After the initial rush, you are left quasi-couchlock." I know there is stuff I need to do. I may not do it this second,but I see myself starting in about an hour…"
Gonna put on NCAA14 on the Xbox360. Feel like playing videos games. “Blitz on 1st down. Run the option. Flea flickers every quarter…do something ridiculous like take the kickoff and run to your own 1 yd line. Then run the ball only down the field. If you need 10, only get 11. See how much time you can milk on the clock.”
Ok, this has turned cerebral. But in a good way. Now I want to start the task I was hesitant to do 30 minutes ago.

It smells like a complex mixture of cleaning fluid/fuel/vanilla frosting. Very strong. My girl came in from her office like, “did you try to clean something?!”
I’m glad it is different. I wanted diversity in the lineup.
I will get her for that “try,” comment later…
The effects? Well. It is not cheery. Not couch-lock, but like, “dang, I gotta go to work…” The sky is overcast. Big storm on the horizon. Like I’m smoking early morning behind Cracker Barrel in Sandy, Utah waiting on my shuttle to drive me to Snowbird, and the snow is coming down hard.
Definitely mellows you out. I swear, just captivated by the complex smell had me stuck for a minute. But in a semi serious state,like someone farted in a packed elevator and we are all trying to figure out in our minds, what they ate.
I know I’m not the only one that does that. Oh wait, I just blew my cover. I don’t want to be known as the elevator fart smeller expert. I mean, I have smelled worse. Burning flesh, 7th grade PE coed stretching exercises in a small room, a toilet in Wichita Falls, Texas…and so on…
The nugs were pretty solid. I would grow it again for uniqueness, complimentary sakes. But I wouldn’t want a run of only this. The next thing you know I am listening to The Smiths and the Pet Shop boys writing horrible, trite poetry in the rain.

First opened the bag. Did not get berry or sweet. Got pine and fuel. Huh? Took a couple hits. Odd. This I feel in my mouth. And definitely an appetite stimulant. I did not taste anything sweet at all.
Took a few more hits. Nope. What I get is smooth, but no berries. Only straw.
Well this one goes to the back of the line. Maybe a longer cure will do the trick.
This must be some serious daytime smoke. Not feeling anything other than my mouth and tongue.
Ok, a few minutes later a slight head,on top of skull-and eyelids barely feeling it.
And then a few minutes after that-finally feeling it, VERY subtle. The eyes.
You know, we never got to see what “The Gooch,” looked like. To these breeders-“Whatchu talkin bout ,Willis?!”
The strain that cried Wolf. I am done searching for that "Strawberry " taste that was legendary.
Oh my…opened the bag and the grape funkiness hits you hard. A little gas, a little floral. But that Grape smell is prevalent, and the majority.
This was smooth. The smell alone is enough to make me run this again. Feeling it in my mouth and nasal cavity.
And munchies. Damn that was quick!
Oh, wait, don’t let me sound like an ingenue-There is a reason I use that Grape pollen to make seeds.
Super sticky buds, good mellow feeling, strong smell.
Unfortunately this is a limited edition seed batch.

Oh, it already has my mouth watering. Got some yellow curry chicken I am about demolish.
There is a subtle, head high. I can feel it now. Not specific. Yeah…all over the top of your dome,and I feel like all my Ear nose, and throat have been stimulated/awake. Weird.
But the mellow is nice. Like John Travolta driving under the influence of Heroin in “Pulp Fiction.”
I feel like a fat joint of this before a trip to the weekend buffet brunch at a classy spot, is next on my to-do list. To the little chunky kid first in line, I lean down and whisper, “There is no Santa Claus…”
And I take his spot.

Jesus is just alright with me doobie bros Jesus just left Chicago ZZ Top I’m glad I have a Winter Stash And Thinking about some different strains for spring planting those are some good looking Bud’s I may try some of that Grape Octane seems to be a hardy strain that should grow well here

I saw what you did there. Very clever. On a site about weed you mention the Doobie brothers, and then followed through with a pic of Jesus and weed. It’s like you created triple-entendre of weed, wrapped up in a Jesus tortilla, then musically deep fried in a Hot Pocket of recent pop culture with the bong. Touche’
The only way you could top that is a picture of Jesus wearing a shirt himself hitting the bong.
