I'm just a Raggedy man

Sorry, I call my grow-op THUNDERDOME

I heard of Tina Turner’s passing-and now I feel like the garden is missing something :face_with_diagonal_mouth: :cry:

I raised a joint, and now back to bidness’

"Please enter at your own free will and leave some of the happiness you bring…

This year’s lineup so far
Pineapple Upside down cake didn’t make it. Dratz.

Oreoz (SHN/Dr. Blaze)is hanging by a thread, with some serious scoliosis on her stem. I will keep her going.

Strawberry Cough(SHN/DB) is doing well.

Strawberry Cheesecake(Humboldt seeds)is trying…

Grape Juice cocktail (SHN/Blue Star &DJ Short)is going along for the ride…

There was also a spot for Star Dream( SHN/BlueStar&DJ Short).

And in the rear with the gear are the clones…

Nimbus snacks, Caffeine, Berry Pie, and Purple Punch. EMBARC dispensary here in Redwood City. I will contine to “harden” them off until approx. June 9th +/- a day. I leave them outside all day and then bring them indoors for supplemental lighting to keep them in Veg.

The white Rainsciece bags are 25 gallons each. Whatever clones make it to the next evolution with reside in one of those pots. Last year was a full house/a dirty dozen so to speak. I did aggressive topping last year-and will do so this year with less plants-to see if maybe a little more lateral breathing space will work better. I know, I know-my no-till dictates i shouldn’t be disturbing the top layer of the rhizospehere-but transplating the clones, I am going out on a limb and seeing what happens. Either way, no tossing of the soil. I have a mixture-4 pots are 5 years recycled-8 pots are on their third year of use. I keep cover crops going year round-and this allows me a mulch that’s not suspect of pesticides. At least I hope.

I am using Build A Soil craft blend this round, and 420 recipe Ultra Bloom for flowering. I also added Bio Char and Silica to all the babies.
I make my own compost(food scraps and chopped cover crop surplus), and I order worms from Uncle Jim every year.

@Dforce I purchased some Jillybean from the same place you did-and I appreciate the ‘heads-up’ regarding that strain. :facepunch:

Thanks for hanging out. Come by any time you like :wave: :grinning:

@Slug_Life Nice line up. I will be watching. I have had some issues with clones this year so my line up my be some seedlings and my mother plants. Good luck with the Jilly Bean, mine grew funky and hermed late, but it sure smells good. It’s just about ready for the cure.

The Pineapple was supposed to be an early high yielder, bummer. You have a real nice lineup that did make it though. I’m sitting in the car waiting on the ol lady to get her nails done as I read here about Tina, We getting old.

Tina left behind some great music and Thunderdome good movie to watch Stoned, Looking like you have some nice strains started mine are growing slowly Lack of Sunshine too much rain, now a coastal low pressure is going to dump more rain, Guess they will be more Hardy dealing with the elements

@2GreenThumbs Right on!

Oh, I will try her again next year. I have a nice supply of Pineapple chunk(Barneys fem seed) that will suffice for now

@Nip Thanks!
Yeah ,guilty as charged-I have watched MMBT stoned a few times. :face_with_hand_over_mouth:
I am like many here with a seed shopping problem. It took everything in me not to plant more seeds.
I would definitely say the plants may surprise you with how much they can take. :+1:

I agree with them being tough, not young but mature enough with a good rootball, having a few Gurellia grows under my belt, going back to neglected plant’s i often thought they were dead wilted leaves, give them some water and they come back like nothing even happened, I also have tied down some tall Sativa plant’s that had outgrown there cover, not a problem there flexible as Hell and the branches just turned to the sun and produced some fine Buds, I have heard that doing some of these things makes them more Hardy, now that i have to buy seeds I have to be careful not to Baby them, I think sometimes we overdo it Tend Them but also let them Grow Naturally :+1:

@Nip im aggressive when i LST and it definitely does help make them more hardy.

You’re good at LST Look at That Stalk! It’s tough I need to be more aggressive with my plant’s outside, I do the pruning and defoliation, at least experiment with one plant

@krismwright He has done some impressive LST outdoors- with PVC and string/wire. The winds here are too strong for me to try outside…yet :wink:

Yeah I just used PVC pipe and trellis netting. I have gotten to the point where I feel like the plant does much better maybe doesn’t get quite as big but the quality of the bud is much better if you just give it some support and let it do its thing. To obtain more tops I just top the plant early and let it develop the way it wants
