I’m on day 33 of my first grow and it looks to me like flowering just started earlier this week. I’ve read other places that when they make the switch to flowering that some lightening of newer leaves is normal and nothing to worry about. I just wanted to check with the experts here and see what p…

That’s somewhat reassuring. And yes, I had seen a brief explanation of phenotypes. Being my first grow I was just getting antsy… I’ve heard of others accidentally ending up with a photo before (although, I didn’t know where they got seeds from). I’ve also seen that some say that they have run 12/…

I have heard of people running autos straight lights on and never off. My understanding is that the plant needs some dark time for processes that it can not do in the dark. I think that I am running 20/4 myself and have been doing so throughout the entire grow

I read this and decided on 20/4. edit: removed unauthorized link

[image] moonchild420: ending up with a photo before (although, I didn’t know where they got seeds from). When a breeder harvests seeds for sale, the plant (in this case) has been teased into producing seeds. But the genetics of all of the parents are there and can be combined into offspring …

[image] Myfriendis410: This is more a case of doing your homework to determine what your Daily Light Interval (DLI) should be, based on lights, spectrum, height, power levels etc. Once this is done you can answer that question for yourself. As you have good quality lights, you are likely wasting…

I’ve only recently started keeping track of my pH & ppm in and out… And the plants are looking pretty good, but I’m wondering if it’s time for a flush. Plant 3 in particular has a pH that just keeps dropping. I’m in Cana Coco with perlite. How would I best get the runoff up? I’ve been shooting f…

You can use that product throughout the grow. Just follow the package instructions. It reduces the amount of water needed to properly flush the substrate. Just don’t go out of the ‘acceptable’ PH range for cannabis as you risk burning the roots. Where you are now is fine.

@Myfriendis410 - I’ve read 5.5 was about as low as I wanted to go, and that autos do best from 5.8-6.5 (which is why I shoot for 6.0-6.3 in)? What would you consider the “acceptable” range - at what point would there be that danger? Early on I was giving nutes every day - now I’m mixing in water o…

I was only cautioning not to exceed normal cannabis PH range which for me would be low hydro to high soil or 5.3 to 6.8. If trying to bump PH in a particular direction, doing this with water only is almost futile. If you are having issues the best thing would be to maybe top dress with dolomite li…
