ILGM Strain of the Month Contest!

Hello everyone! I wanted to introduce a new contest for our members and ILGM customers with prizes including a pack of free seeds and possibly other prizes as well.

Here it is:
Each month we will he running a contest for 3 strains that ILGM sells. It doesn’t matter when you purchased the seeds, but they have to be ILGM genetics. Pictures should be similar to BOM, meaning a picture of a bud/cola in late flower.
At the end of the month, we will have a one week voting period where the winner will be chosen.

We are hoping to have the winners picture included on the seed site when people shop, but that hasn’t been approved as of yet, and if approved, won’t apply to every strain each month. Seeds are still a great prize :wink:

Myself @PurpNGold74 @Myfriendis410 and the other mods will start the threads for each individual strain (3-ish per month). We will have them up starting November 1st. Very excited to get this going, and the contest should go on for some time with all the strains ILGM offers.

Hope to see everyone’s pictures, and some folks might have to dust off their old journals here and dig out some pictures to throw in the mix! Best of luck to all!

Great idea. When i was shopping for seeds on ILGM I was disappointed there was only 1 picture for each strain, but that’s how I ended up on the forum, looking for strains I wanted to try out, so win/win :raised_hands:t3:

The Advertisement picture.

Then I found some of the reviews had pics from customers.
Usually a better rep of their strain than the ad picture

Any hints at the first 3 strains so we can prepare?

Maybe a schedule of 3 strains per month is listed for the upcoming year in advance?
That way maybe we buy some more of the strains listed later in the year to compete?

First two months we are doing the Moderators Favorites starting with myself, @Myfriendis410 @PurpNGold74 and @dbrn32
The other 3 mods will get their choices next month. Then we have some ideas for after that and we will discuss about releasing the schedule before hand, but I don’t see an issue with that.

I was just scrolling back thru this month entries (30 entries and close to 100 voters so far!) and I can see where the inspiration for the new contest came from. :heart_eyes: Talk about bud porn! Very photogenic buds! :camera_flash:
