just a christmas appreciation post of ilgm. gold leaf in particular is one of the best strains ive ever grown and for that reasons (and damn friendly customer service, and this forum ofc) here is still my favorite place to get seeds. happy holidays everyone.

I expect that it is due to Reddit and Rollitup people showing up in the here, behaving toxic as they do on the other forums, and the mods here not putting up with their toxic nonsense. They then they go back to Reddit and Rollitup to complain that their behavior was rebuffed here.

Definitely good business. I haven’t bought from enough banks to determine who’s the best. Ilgm has given me solid product for the most part. My gripe with them is the pack sizes. I don’t need or want 10 and 20 packs. I need 3 and 5 packs and they need to be priced competitively. 5 seeds for $84.99 isn’t competitive when I can get 3 for $40 damn near everywhere else. They need to reconfigure their whole infrastructure.

Actually, when I joined the forum ilgm offered 3 packs that were in the $40-50 range, and they have since reconfigured the seed shop, warehouse, and distribution.
I was not intimately involved with the process but the offerings were narrowed in order streamline packaging towards the majority of sales and have seeeds prepackaged and ready to ship at a local distribution center. This increased delivery time from ~ a month to ~ a week in the US and significantly decreased the amount of orders damaged or intercepted in shipping. While still offering shipping and germination guarantee that isn’t always offered by competitors.
While I would agree some things could be different, they have evolved pretty well over the years.

I recently found another seed site that offers 1 , 3, 5 seeds, as well as total bundle reduction in overall purchase.
But everyone has their own method of moving what’s on tap. I get that

Gold leaf is unique in its own right. Been a few years since I grew it but memories are vivid. What would you describe the taste and aroma like? Mine had a sweet buttery smell and taste. Felt like a 50/50 hybrid and just satisfied all the notes.

I never put deep thought into the strains I choose it’s always gut feeling that I go by. I only have 4 ilgm strains in my collection. White widow auto, super lemon haze auto, godfather OG, and gold leaf.
All produce good product and I don’t regret buying any. I’m growing all but the gold leaf right now and they’re. all deep into flower. Gold leaf grows too fast and vigorous for what I wanted to do this year. I’m definitely going to get back on her. How does she do outdoors? A buddy of mine who grows outdoors wants me to join him

Gold leaf is ilgm signature strain I believe. But so is the ww auto which is why it was the first seeds I bought from ilgm
