oh man I was not letting it run off I hope I don’t damage them @Budz
I don’t necessarily always water to runoff. But I get right up on it. I guess I miss explained how I use tribus. When I say 2ml per week. I mean add 2ml per gallon of whatever amount of water it takes to get some runoff from every single girl. So if you need half of gallon of water to create runoff and have 6 plants (these numbers are just representative of ratios, not how much water to give) then you would have to make 3 gallons with 6ml in it. Since that’s 2ml/gallon. New growers always think there are actually amounts of nutrients they can use weekly and get consistent results. This is false, especially in soil. Honestly it’s why I switched to coco. When you use an innert medium the plants only get exactly what you give them every single day. And you must water everyday. This eliminates all room for over/underwatering. Can’t be underwatered if you soak the pot daily. You can’t overwater a plant in a hydro environment, otherwise hydro environments wouldn’t work.
When was the last time you soaked the pots? My happy frog never looks that dry. At any point. Soaked meaning slowly adding water to prevent channeling until you reach run off. Ensuring every bit of medium is moist.
If my medium looked like yours, I’d be watering yesterday.
If you stick your finger in the medium twords the edge. And you do not feel moisture by time you hit your second knuckle, she’s dried out. I have long fingers, so that’s not true for me. But basically 2". Avg ish second knuckle for index. (My wife’s entire hand almost fits in my palm, lol)
lol I’ve water them Wednesday and I have not water till they soak out trough pots wow I’m the cause of this thank you I’m going too water them now @Budz
hey how is it going I water my plants I could not get that ppm number at the same time as watering we had too take my son too doctors high fever @Budz
I’ve also been sick. So has my wife.
Will just have to see how she (the plant) responds without numbers.
it’s crazy my kids playing having fun and next day sick I hope you and your wife feels better and I will try and get a reading tonight but she seems good growing big @Budz
Looking good!
thank you for all your help if it wasn’t for all the help from you I think i would of fail @Budz
hey question do I have too train them at week 5 and when and should I trim them ?? @Budz
I do everything based off feel. So best I can do is point one here. Since I don’t follow schedules.
Look under advanced techniques
my girls might be hurt I lost power here @Budz
hopefully you are ok with the aftermath of storm @Budz
you think the girls will be fine I didn’t want too open tent you think I should worry about it @Budz
Ive had power go out for short times before. Usually won’t cause any issues unless it’s a long time. Need air exchange.
we still have no power we had parshal power last night then morning it went out wow I will have too pray for this power too ho back on @Budz
sorry go back on and it did @Budz
I forget. Are you growing autos or photos? If autos no issue. But potentially your power could’ve been out long enough to possibly initiate flowering in a photoperiod. Probably not. I only grow photos and will say for sure that the 48hr dark period is much more likely to initiate flowering sooner than just switching to 12/12. Which they are big enough to be flipped anyway if they are photos. Just don’t want them to initiate flower then go into revegetation. If that happens you may aswell start over. Since I could sprout and finish a plant faster than I could get a plant to flip/reveg/flip and finish.
How many hours where the lights out? As long as everyone is back on schedules (same hours as before). No transition should happen in a photoperiod. Storms happen in nature. It’s the set time of wake up and sleep that triggers photos more so than just losing a couple hours mid day*. I personally want to get a couple clones going and grow them out each at the exact same rate. Close as I can get. Test the theory of a repeating 10/10 schedule would grow a plant 20% faster than a 12/12. Since the plant would complete a week in 6 days instead of 7. So you can shave ~week off the average flowering times. Just finding a repeating timer that’s not all clunky, overpriced or making my own is proving to be a pain. Making my own would also be clunky. I’m limited on space in grow area as is. Lol
