ILGM Blue Dream Clone outdoors

I have a Blue Dream photo clone that I’m about to flip. I have it in my green house currently with 40% shade cloth that I’ll be moving out into my back planter area into full sun. Mother Earth Ground swell soil in a 15gallon fabric tote. Been giving it GH Armor Si, GH CALiMAGic, GH MaxiGro and Grandma’s molasses (once a week). Currently the plant is about 5ft tall. Just have a few concerns.

1- Moving it into full sun during flower, will it be too much for her or will she be fine?
2- What does everyone do when it does rain with lets say a in-ground plant?

Any input will be much appreciated.

Try to make this gradual transition to full sun.

Willfully growing outdoors is accepting that you’re at the mercy of mother nature. Rain, bugs, disease, thieves can all be an issue. A little rain isn’t going to hurt them, but you should have provisions to protect them from a lot of rain if it’s expected in your climate. Cover or move them, maybe go gently shake moisture off when it’s done. And try to locate plants where there is a good amount of air movement.

@dbrn32 I think she would be ok. She gets 5-6 hours of sun in the greenhouse even with 40% of the sun being blocked. I had basic greenhouse plastic before it got sun rotted for about a week of torn plastic. I could be wrong though.

When it comes to weather and pests. Ill be working on some type of of cover to shild her from the rain (when we do get rain living in the valley) and spraying her with Growers Ally Crop Defender 3 that’s safe all the to day of harvest.

First day out in full sun and decided to start building a cover for her whenever the rain starts for us. Going to add another pvc arch hopefully tomorrow and toprail. Started doing my homemade netting. Going to let nature take its course for the time being before starting her on her meds.

Just need plastic and top rail to finish covering her new home. Two layers of homemade netting with masons line. What’s everyone option?

Little update. Added a third layer of netting and added some 50% shade cloth to hopefully help with the full sun/heat. Going on 2nd week of flowering. Going to be 110 deg plus next week.

Update: I’m into about 5 week of flower and just noticed closely I have damn caterpillars. Been srapaying growers ally crop defender on the plant once a week and was able to pick off about 5 or so just this morning. Will be doing another spray tonight to hopefully get rid of them. Any suggestions would be great.
