Just had a look at your bottom pictures, if you look to the bottom left you will see one of your stems is starting to turn red which in my opinion would indicate calmag issues beginning. I know your AN rep says there’s enough in their products but a plant growing under led needs more calmag than a plant growing under HiD. This I have discovered after making that switch from HPS to HLG’s rspec QB260s. My calmag use has shot up since making that switch. I have never used AN stuff though so I could be miles off here
Today is day 59. I am looking at trichs. I’ve been following a schedule that should leave my next water change (day 63) to be the last week of nutrients, then flush from day 70-77.
Does it look like my trichs are on the right track for this time frame? I’m looking for 15-20% amber to harvest, but not sure when to start the flush.
I don’t flush, I just wind the feeding back which is almost the same thing. I see a touch of amber on what looks like a sugar leaf. Buds are a better indicator though. Keep an eye on that amber as it will increase quickly as you get closer to harvest
Thanks @Davyg. I was planning on using AN’s Flawless Finish for the flush instead of straight water. Something about all these products remaining in the buds doesn’t sit right with me.
Correction* apparently I read the instructions wrong on Flawless Finish. It’s only mixed and use for 6 hours in the res to clear the plant, and then straight water until harvest. I read “ It should be used approximately 1 week (4-10 days) before harvest. “ and figured I was using it for that duration, while in fact it’s only used once for six hours.
There’s something doesn’t sit right with me either. If I can’t ingest it then I don’t want it anywhere near my plants. That’s why I use peppermint oil for my mites
Kills em stone dead. North African university, possibly Cairo did a paper on it. I think it’s in here somewhere around halfway down. I don’t use 4%, I use around 6 drops per litre. You need liquid soap to suspend the oil, a teaspoon works for me. I don’t have any issues using it as I’m quite happy to drink peppermint oil, not so keen to drink insecticide
Looking good, looking good . Keep an eye on any colas leaning against the tent wall at the back . They get properly flattened and become prime candidates for mould
I’m unsure what to do here… The buds look as plump as ever. Almost no white or new pistols, only on absolute lowest popcorn nugs. Trichomes don’t seem like they’ve changed much. I still see some clear and not much amber. She’s been getting straight water for 9 days
