Well my first try was not as successful as I had hoped. But to be expected I guess. Even my first vegetable garden wasn’t that great lol.
This time instead 3 auto plants I decided just do one so she would get my full attention. I must say in just 27 days from time I put her as a little seed sprout into the dirt she doing great. Good coloring. We did have a little Oops on my part when watering once. Grabbed the wrong spray bottle that at some nutrients still mixed in and got a little bit nutrient burns but she bounced back overnight and still growing strong. In fact I am amazed she has stayed short and bushing out. My first 3 from the start were stretching big time and not very bushy.
Below shows exceptional growth in just 4 days from day 23 to day 27.
@Tinman Hey well my first 3 ladies didn’t do as well as I hoped. I got one lady going now. I appreciated all the help and advice last time was tagging you here and hoping you could follow and help me along. She so much shorter and stout not sure when to start LST.
Any info on the the soil, how hot it is?when u should start adding nutes?, google said it’s good through the whole grow. I’ve only grown in fox farm soils
I like to start by putting a hold back low on the stem, tie it off to the opposite side u plan on bending your plant.then tie off ,not the top, but 2 nodes down from top , and start bending her little bit each day. As the plant gets bigger u can move the top tie up as needed . Once it’s bent in one direction you leave it , the top will slowly point up towards the light
I would wait until she sprouts a couple more nodes. You can lightly massage the main stem towards the way you are eventually going to bend it. I’ve read that is supposed to strengthen the plant.
Day 30. Doing good. Growing good. Had some issue yesterday with humidity due to winter storm moving in. Don’t think she liked it. But got it under control. Haven’t started LST yet, she staying short and stocky, really can’t get in there without hitting or covering up new leaves coming in. So I’ve been turning and moving her around under the light so the light can get in there and reach the new foliage.
