…found this little nest of white poofy stuff while trimming after drying. this was washed in peroxide/water, then baking soda / lemon juice then fresh water rinse. I’m leaning toward spider mite webs, and those red dots might be some dead mites or eggs, but looking for more informed insight. Thanks for any replies!

There’s such a thing as cobweb mold, but that isn’t it. I’d guess spiders of some kind.
I’d hit it with some Capt Jacks Deadbug.

since this is already washed and dried ready for jars, I’m just going to cut that stuff out. it seems to be limited to a small area
